Supporting wellness and healing together with gratitude for our equine partners

We believe that our mental health intertwines with our overall health, well-being and emotional needs to include a broader exploration of our social connections, emotional wellness, experiences, and patterns that we all have. Equine Supported Wellness (ESW) is an alternative way to offer learning and mental health support with the involvement of horses in the session. ESW encourages our learning and understanding, helps us to recognize the patterns that exist in our relationships, and allows us to grow our emotional connectedness and relationships with each other.

We're often asked, "Do I need horse experience?" or, "How should I prepare?"
The answer is, simply show up. Just as you are. That's all that the horses do for us. They bring their authentic selves into our programs. And we just need to do the same. Meeting the new and anticipated foals at the farm is one of the things we look forward to most in the Spring. The curiosity of these new babes when they see the world for the first time, or their sudden burst of energy provides us with a renewed sense of wonder and a chuckle as we have the privilege of watching them learn, grow and interact with their mothers.
