PICK YOUR BATTLES - The planet of love, beauty, harmony, & relationships trades the place of her exaltation for the place of her fall. Venus entered Aries first thing this morning. Here is a fiery place. Venus wants…and that should be delivered stat. A little impatient, a little impulsive, and perhaps more self centered than in any other sign. Aries is the sign of agency. Venus feels this sovereignty to her very toes. She might not care what you think about any of that. 🫣

The Moon is in Libra, a place Venus rules, for the remainder of the day…slipping into Scorpio around midnight. So a softening approach to this newly felt agency may be felt. Good thing cuz there’s Neptune and Saturn right inside the threshold of Aries. Neptune holds up the veil to Saturn’s limiting cement wall. Go easy today. Get a feel for it. Venus has been in Pisces, a water sign. So get used to standing up, not floating through.

HAVE FAITH - The Libra Moon glides through her Venus ruled place. We want to follow the rules, to have harmony, to treat each other well…some of those things are in short supply.

The moving stellium is in Pisces, the place of dreams, of wonder, of surrender. A stellium is three or more planets in a zodiac sign. In Pisces, the Sun, Mercury Rx, Venus, and Mars. The North Node point is here too. It’s a lot of Piscean energy. And we thought Saturn and Neptune’s departure from this mysterious place would provide a soothing balm. So what is this now?

Maybe we are supposed to have these feelings of grief, of mourning for what was. May we are supposed to sit in this…before we can have words, we have feelings. As a water sign, Pisces delivers on that front.

Today, though, the Pisces Sun reaches out to the ruler, Jupiter, currently retrograde in Cancer. An inside job speaks the god of gods. If you wonder where the healing is. If you wonder where the oneness is. If you wonder how we transcend this current landscape…Jupiter provides the arms to hold us and ask…where is your faith?

The High Priestess came in yesterday and returns today. Her messages often lack a certain clarity. A clarity we desire. But this is deeper than that. Trust me when I say there is a place that holds the peace of the world…within. The High Priestess is the shadowy gateway between conscious and all that is underneath.

The Hanged Man turns himself inside out, upside down. Searching for meaning The Hanged Man must commune with the Divine. What is this struggle I cannot name? STRIVING - How are y’all feeling from the full moon? A lot? Or a little? The eclipse made the full moon dramatic. It hurt a little to see the Moon erased but she returned last night, blooming in the sky. Still here. Still fighting the good fight.

The Virgo Moon will oppose Venus in Pisces and trine Uranus in Ta**us before the lunch hour. Then she goes quiet. Void, until she enters Libra mid afternoon. From there we are Venus driven and the air around us is alive with relationship themes.

Venus likewise actively engages with the Moon in opposition and with Uranus via sextile. With the Moon, Venus, and Uranus highlighting today’s sky look for the opportunity that comes from a gentle internal nudge…a surprising turn, a unique perspective, a flirt with freedom.

The cards think the same…The High Priestess is the moon in the tarot. The Ace of Pentacles is the opportunity….grounded in real things. And the Five of Wands, from the Leo decans, asks are you willing to show your stuff…be unafraid to express who you are, even when the other guy or gal appears to have it all.

The High Priestess is so serene. Beyond her veil is the magic of internal workings, our intuition, the unseen. The High Priestess reminds us that we carry all of our experiences, our ancestry, underneath what is conscious to us. Her veil is the boundary between known and unknown. She meets us here today asking us to be more aware, to notice what comes up.

The Five of Wands is a card of conflict but usually the gentle kind…the kind that is playful and edgy. If you find yourself drawn into someone else’s drama today, remember who you are. You don’t need to get down in the mud to prove a point.

REVEAL & RELEASE - FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE - The Virgo Moon and Pisces stood on opposing sides of the zodiacal wheel, forming a full moon. The Earth glided in between them, forming an eclipse. It’s an alignment on or near the nodes of the Moon’s orbital journey.

Virgo is ruled by Mercury, currently Rx in Pisces. Pisces is ruled by Jupiter, currently Rx in Cancer and exalted.

This morning’s lunar eclipse was in Virgo…two weeks ago we had a solar eclipse in Aquarius. This completes the eclipse season, per se. Two eclipses, one initiates, one releases. Eclipse season can feel like a portal we enter at one eclipse and exit at the next.

For some this journey will be exceptional. For some, revealing. Others, barely notice. As always, the awareness is a result of planetary bodies or angles in your natal chart connecting (aka aspecting) the collective cosmos. We are all different…amazing, resilient creatures.

My journey has included my Aquarius 4th house. This is the place of home, land, roots, ancestors. And it also included my Virgo 11th house. This is a place of friendships, social circles, networks, hopes and aspirations.

On the new moon solar eclipse on February 17, I wrote from the heart about my desires. What grows in me. I soaked the paper in salt water for the past two weeks. Today, I release it to the earth.

Jupiter’s retrograde ends March 11. Mercury’s retrograde ends on March 20. Inner work remains.

Whatever this eclipse season revealed to you, I hope you can gather the courage to begin to make the changes the heavens have bestowed upon you.

UNMOORED - The Moon will enter Virgo very soon…perhaps by the time you read this she is already there. She will set things to order and prepare for the full moon lunar eclipse tomorrow morning at 7:38am Atlantic. The Moon has been shining brightly, boldly in the night sky. Very early this morning I gazed upon her with awe.

Mars enters Pisces from Aquarius this morning. Mars in Aquarius for the past few weeks has given us a feeling of independent thought and a freedom from social norms. Now, as Mars enters the dissolving waters of Pisces that independence and freedom can feel very unmoored. Mars is assertive, directional, going this way! In Pisces, they must feel around for the collective vibe.

And as Mars enters the Pisces playground, they join the stellium there….North Node, Mercury, Sun, Venus. They will all face the Virgo Moon tomorrow morning as the Moon stands with the South Node.

The cards today reveal what we may be feeling…a desire to stand up for ourselves, a desire to speak our minds, an assertion wants to be revealed. And yet, it has its challenges.

The Seven of Wands, wearing two different shoes, speaks to courage. Speaks to maintaining what we have gained. To have clear intent. You are protecting your space and valuing trust and integrity. But maybe you are tired now from the defending position. Your energy wanes. This is a time to find a grounding anchor…to review and renew your reason for standing strong.

The Knight of Swords, similar to the Seven of Wands in that defensive stance, asks for honesty, directness, and intent. Have the goal…check. Have the facts…check. Make the move…ummm, hold on, did you say facts? Moving ahead too fast you can lose clarity, lose direction. It would be time to verify, not vilify.

If you are feeling unmoored, slow your pace. Find your centre. Ground.

The lighthouse is a guiding light for ships sailing in the night, in storms, in less than ideal weather. They have long stood as symbols for hope, guidance, and strength. An unwavering sentinel helping you to safely navigate….for finding your way when life feels uncertain.

Hold your palm up in front of your face. Blow the cinnamon into your house. Think of abundance, prosperity, good luck, and positive energy. Invite it in!

NURTURE THE SHADOW - The Moon entered Leo very early…coming up with the Sun on the other side of the horizon. It was a beautiful orange globe in the darkness. Leo Moons want us to feel safe to express ourselves. We want people to think well of us…to say well done, well said…praise for our shine.

There are fire trines with Neptune and Saturn in Aries…the go for it sign. And an opposition to Pluto in Aquarius who asks about collective shine. Where do we all shine on this bright beautiful day? As the Sun comes around to the Spring Equinox, the days are longer, the Sun’s warmth a welcome respite from winter’s cold.

Mercury Rx in Pisces is watching his rock roll downhill….they will need to follow it to the bottom and then push forward once more. Mercury Rx meets with Venus today. Venus is traveling toward Aries…reaching the warrior’s threshold on March 6. When Mercury & Venus meet up in conjunction, conversations revolve around relationships, harmony, peace. ☮️ A good day to speak from the heart.

What say the cards? The Mother (Queen) of Pentacles has a strategy of care. Do you need a bowl of soup, a warm cup of tea, a comfy chair, and a blanket to curl up with? Nurture is her name. Give some to yourself and to others today. Show a kindness. 🥹

The Justice card is Venus’ card when she is in Libra. We balance our needs against the needs of others. We weigh out meaning. We judge what could happen if this and this and this were occurring. AUDACITY - There is a powerful square happening today between Mars in Aquarius and Uranus in Ta**us. The square sits at the eclipse degree from February 17. There may be a ripple from that time to now for you. Mars is action, drive, motivation and Uranus is electric, unexpected, and breaks for freedom. It may pass you by without a rippple but you may see in someone near you how it has affected them.

The Moon is in Cancer. She is home and with Jupiter…expanding those feelings of optimism and opening. She trines Mercury Rx and Venus in Pisces. How do your feelings resonate? Where does the vibration hum in your body?

The Pisces Sun sits with the North Node today, as well. Seems the personal planets all have something to say. With the Sun and the NN engaged we could be out and about engaging with others. Shining as we meant to do. Put a shine on your face today 😁

TRUST THE REWIND - Mercury stationed retrograde in the middle of the night in these parts. We wake to a fog rolling in…literally. Mercury Rx gets a bad rap. Yep, there seems to be more discombobulation during this time, however, it is an opportunity to review, reconsider, and relinquish. In Pisces, the retrograde will be especially noticeable in our dreamscape. It would be an excellent time to record what you remember of your dreams.

The Moon made it home to Cancer in the wee hours of this day. This is the place she is comfortable and can exercise her expression more fully. You may feel that today. Most of her activity happened while we were sleeping. She is applying to a trine (a harmonious hug) to the Sun in Pisces for most of the day.

The mystical Starseed Tarot seems like a good choice for today’s cosmic landscape. The Eight of Cups is from the first decan of Pisces and the Ten of Cups is the final. Mercury sits the final decan and will travel back to the first. The Sun is in the first decan and by the time Mercury Rx stations direct, the Sun will be in the final. Love the beauty of this astrology.

The Eight of Cups signals a time to release those things that keep you from being authentically you. GROWTH EDGE - We have a full day of the Gemini Moon…mutable air, yang. Lively communication. Outward expression. Mercury has slowed to their station degree in Pisces. Mercury is not at full strength.

In Gemini (ruled by Mercury), the Moon will engage with planets in other mutable signs as a square (Pisces) and engage with planets in air signs (Aquarius) as a trine. Square versus trine…feels good, maybe it changes my mind. She will also sit in sextile with planets in signs “one sign over”….so Gemini to Aries.

All this to say, planets are engaging in various ways…mathematical aspects, by degree. A square is 90 degrees. A trine in 120 degrees. A sextile is 60 degrees. If you think about those shapes what seems hard? Seems easier? Seems not as solid?

I will leave it there for you to think about…let’s look at the cards.

The Lovers is Gemini’s card in the tarot. Yep, message received. The Lovers speaks to duality. It speaks to union. To commitment. It speaks to love. To kindness. The way in which we hold space. And another concept is the choice…choosing responsibility to yourself or to another.

The Five of Swords is from the Aquarius decans. It is not an easy looking card. Swords are about air, our breath, our voice, our thinking mind. In this card, the clouds are tattered, the characters are worn, and the swords (our tool of air) are controlled by one. It looks like conflict. And it asks was it worth it? Was it true?

As you go about your day, and engage with others, stay grounded in your centre. Sometimes people can trigger a response from us that is flying out into the air before reflection can take place. Maybe you feel you need to defend, to fight, to battle to be “right”.
