Sharlene’s story begins not at the inception of True Ally, but during her tenure at a leading mental health organization. It was here, amidst the challenges of an environment marked by a stifling hierarchy and cultural toxicity, that Sharlene’s vision for a different kind of workplace began to take shape. Faced with a system resistant to change and a voice that struggled to be heard, Sharlene experienced the very realities she now works to eradicate.
