The true costs of amputation... to the PATIENT? Reduced mobility and independence, increased chances of infection and further health complications, potential loss of employment or lengthy time off for recovery, financial cost of home renovations or relocation, custom orthotics/prosthetics, travel for ongoing treatment, and a potential loss of dignity and confidence.

Great day spent. Today I volunteered at the blue door project offering foot care to those less fortunate.

I met some wonderful people and had some great conversations while I did their feet.

I will be returning again, if anyone would like to help out with purchasing socks that I give out while I am there please feel free to reach out.
