✨ Inspiring the Next Generation of Healthcare Workers at Six Nations Health Symposium: Ohahodoni ✨

We are so grateful to work alongside Hamilton Health Sciences to help with our Ohahodoni: Creating a Path Healthcare Symposium this past May 2025. This event is about more than health care — it’s about inspiring our youth, building confidence, and showing them that their voices belong in these spaces. Together, we’re creating opportunities for future health leaders and strengthening Indigenous representation in the health system. Nya:weh to everyone who supported this important work — when we come together, we create real change for our people and future generations. ❤️🌿

On this International Women’s Day, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and dedication of Haudenosaunee women in healthcare. From medical technologist to traditional medicine keepers, nurses, doctors, midwives, police, fire, paramedics and health advocates & allies our women have always been the backbone of healing in our communities.

We honor those who continue to break barriers, uplift our people, and carry forward the teachings of our ancestors in the spirit.

We want to encourage and promote healthcare and professions within our territories to ensure a healthy pathway for our communities!

Join us on May 9th at the Six Nations Community Hall for the day 9:30am-4:00pm to check out the different healthcare professions, educational pathways and more!
