Stiff, painful shoulder? These 3 gentle mobility exercises are commonly used to help restore range of motion when done consistently and pain-free.
✨ Try these at home:
1️⃣ Pole-Assisted Abduction
Use a broomstick or dowel to gently guide the affected arm out to the side. Let the good arm do the work.
2️⃣ Pendulum Hang
Lean forward, relax the shoulder, and let the arm hang. Small circles or gentle swings help reduce stiffness and pain.
3️⃣ Towel Stretch Behind the Back
Hold a towel with both hands behind your back. The top arm gently assists the lower arm upward to improve internal rotation.
⚠️ Key tips:
* Move slowly
* Stay within a comfortable range
* Consistency > intensity
* Stop if pain increases

🎾 Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylitis)

Pain on the outside of the elbow? These stretching + strengthening exercises are commonly used to calm symptoms and rebuild tendon strength.

✨ Try these 3 exercises:

1️⃣ Wrist Flexion Stretch (Elbow Straight)
Extend the affected arm, gently pull the hand down into wrist flexion with slight internal rotation. You should feel a stretch along the forearm — not sharp pain.

2️⃣ Light Weight Wrist Extensions
Rest your forearm on a table, palm facing down. Slowly lift the hand up using a light weight, then lower with control.

3️⃣ Forearm Supination & Pronation
Holding a light weight or hammer, rotate the forearm palm-up and palm-down in a slow, controlled motion.

⚠️ Key tips:

* Keep movements slow and controlled
* Start light (even no weight)
* Mild discomfort is okay — sharp pain is not
* Consistency matters more than load
