I'm originally from Nova Scotia and moved to British Columbia in 2007. Being far away from home, I wanted to build a life I was proud of and follow my purpose, which led me to Holistic nutrition. I have always been fascinated with how the mind and body are interconnected. They have a powerful relationship between our mental and physical health, where thoughts, emotions, and attitudes can directly influence the body's physical state and vice versa. For example, when you're stressed or anxious, your body may respond with physical symptoms like headaches, muscle tension, or an upset stomach. If the body is nourished with proper nutrition and adopts positive lifestyle habits, your overall well-being will be balanced. After understanding that a lot of health issues stem from poor food choices and lifestyle, I wanted to change my own lifestyle so I could live a life with purpose and meaning.
