Middle management wasn’t for me!
Working in Corporate Dentistry was a grinder!
My phone never stopped dinging or ringing and the never ending email threads to reply to with God knows how many people on it.
The meetings to have a meeting about what’s happening at the next meeting.
Arghh!!!
The made up meetings to make people feel important or productive.
Ya I see you 👀
During the last performance review before I left, I was told I was too nice, and cared too much about my staff.

What a terrible deficiency for a person in middle management!!
What was it they were looking for?
Ohhhh…right.
Taking marching orders, ask no questions and get the staff to do as they’re told.
Using their personal information as leverage to motivate them and indoctrinating them into the idea that we were a work family.
Puke 🤢
Make no mistake…
no matter how good you were at,
- profit margins that gave out staff bonuses
- treatment planning
- patient retention
-staff retention
-dentist retention
-organizing continued education
-conflict management
-marketing
-team meetings
-event planning
The list goes on and on, and on and on!!
There was always someone in upper management thinking you could do more or pondering who they could get to do it better.
Middle management gets 💩 running down hill from upper management and 💩 rolling uphill from the staff.

If problem solving was an Olympic event…I would have been on that podium!! 🏅 💐
That was a game I was happy to stop playing.
8 years later things look different in my world.
🏅No boss to answer to
🏅No fear of being late while stuck in traffic
🏅No email thread blowing up after hours
🏅No one texting me at 4am they can’t come to work
🏅No one having a dramatic melt down because the lab got it wrong again!!
I’m incredibly happy and fulfilled to work from home, and serve my clients.
There’s people out there that need the healing and support that I offer.
I wished I had a “me” out there that I could’ve turned to when my daughter was diagnosed with ADHD 10yrs ago.
I had no idea what I had no idea about!!
ADHD turned our entire family upside down, then right side up. Thankfully 😅
That’s not what it’s like for many!
I have hypnotherapy to thank for that right side up part.
The inner turmoil it can take on oneself and for our loved ones is tremendous.
As a Clinical Hypnotherapist that has spoke at conferences on Hypnosis and the ADHD brain I can tell you one thing - ADHD is absolutely a super power!
Any super hero, yes including Dead Pool and Wolverine trained to learn how to best use there super powers!!
Without that training they would end up using their powers in a way that would basically have them self destruct, or let’s go super dramatic in Hollywood style…it could mean the end of the world!!!
Mwhahahaha 😈
Nice maniacal laugh 🤣 insert…right?!! lol
Hence, ADHD’ers are prone to self medicating, risky behaviour patterns, addictions, divorce, trouble with the law, job loss, financial struggles, comorbid mental health issues.
All of that or most all of that - thank god, can be avoided!! With proper care, resources, education and treatment.
Helping ADHD people to have a healthy, sustainable life, without years in therapy is my super power!
Xoxox 💕
PS. I’m taking on new 1 one 1 clients and will be running group sessions in the fall. DM me for details!
