Pleurotus djamor, "Pink Oyster" growing in masters mix 5 lbs bag. Has a meaty texture the when cooked, with a mild slightly nutty and savory flavor. These grow extremely quickly and are a good source of protein, as well as providing several medicinal benefits such as lowering cholesterol, regulating blood sugar levels, benefiting heart health, providing a source of anti oxidants, regulating the immune system by activating interferon-y, as well as helping with upper respiratory tract infections.

Amanita muscaria var formosa sensu Thiers. This is the most common variety of Amanita muscaria found in Alberta Canada. Ectomycorrhizal with Populus, and often found among leaf litter and tall grass in aspen stands. I've seen one with caps up to 8 inches across, and also ones that size with upturned caps like a goblet holding water!
