Sharayah is a trained Birth and Postpartum Doula supporting families from pregnancy to postpartum and everything in between. The use of a Birth Doula companion allows families to have the tools, information and comfort during labour and delivery. By doing so, parents are able to make informed decisions for their birthing experience in a positive, happy, and safe birth environment. Physical and emotional support are fundamental as parents welcome their new child into the world. A Postpartum Doula provides physical and emotional care for Mom and baby during the postpartum period. The benefits of having a Doula companion during this time allows for parents to receive time for rest, baby care, breastfeeding support, meal preparation and light cleaning. With the help of a Postpartum Doula, families can focus on the transition to parenthood and the bond with their baby instead of the stresses and demands of everyday life.
