For some, this season can feel stressful, lonely, overwhelming and heavy. For others it brings connection, celebration, and happiness.

Just know that whatever you experience this season...it's valid.
You aren't alone at all.

Some days you may feel happy and fulfilled, and other days you may feel low and heavy. That's ok. Feel into it. You have the strength to navigate the holiday season.

Give yourself permission to do what's best for you.

If you want to be around people, go for it.
If you need "me" time, take it.
If you just can't, say no.
If you're able to, fill your cup.

Cacao & Calm is a soft landing place for the nervous system, a night designed to bring you back into your body through stillness, breath, and the warmth of sacred cacao. We begin with an opening and smudge, clearing the energy of the day so you can arrive fully. From there, we move into a gentle share, creating a circle rooted in safety and connection before the teachings unfold.

Youโ€™ll be guided through a powerful exploration of expectation versus intention: releasing the pressure of outcome and reconnecting to the energy of true desire. With that clarity, we transition into the heart of the evening: the cacao pour. As you sip, youโ€™ll feel the medicine soften your edges, open your chest, and prepare your system to receive. Once we anchor your intention, Amy will introduce a couple of accessible breathwork tools, and then guide you through a calming breathwork practice designed to melt stress, downshift your nervous system, and restore inner harmony.

Your breath and emotions are always in sync.

When you are stressed out, panicking, or overwhelmed, your breathing becomes fast and shallow ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ๐Ÿซจ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ

When you're calm, your breath naturally slows down and deepens ๐Ÿ˜Œโ˜บ๏ธ

Your breath mirrors its emotions, but can also change them too. By consciously shifting your breathing, you can change how you feel.

When you are stressed out, panicking, or overwhelmed try repeating:

IN - 2 - 3 - 4
OUT - 2 - 3 - 4

As you do this, your nervous system responds almost instantly. This will in turn change how you feel. A sense of calm will come over you.
