Breathing is more than a physical act. It’s how we remind our nervous system that we are safe.

When your thoughts spiral or your body feels tense, try this simple reset:
🌿 Inhale gently for 4 counts
🌿 Hold for 4 counts
🌿 Exhale slowly for 6 counts
🌿 Repeat for one minute

This small practice can shift your body from stress to calm and create space for clarity.

Your free guide to mindful breathing is available at https://www.drjennadunlop.com/free-resources... a gentle resource for women learning to regulate, refocus, and recharge.

ADHD continues to be perceived as a condition affecting males — often embodied by hyperactive boys who can’t sit still in class.

However, research shows that rates of ADHD in adults are similar between men and women, yet women remain chronically under-diagnosed. This happens because symptoms often present differently based on gender.

At the moment, the diagnosis rate among American men is nearly 69% higher than it is among women.

Women with ADHD are too often described as:
✨ Flaky
✨ Spacey
✨ Loud
✨ Emotional
✨ Disorganized or messy

Behind these labels are symptoms like forgetfulness, interrupting, impatience, and low self-worth ... but also incredible strengths: creativity, empathy, risk-taking, and out-of-the-box thinking.

ADHD in women is not a character flaw. It’s a neurodevelopmental difference that, once understood, can become a source of power and self-awareness.

ADHD and menopause both change how the brain sleeps. Fluctuating hormones and dopamine regulation can shorten REM cycles and delay sleep onset, leaving you foggy, unfocused, and irritable.

Understanding these patterns is the first step toward healing fatigue and reclaiming energy.

Many of us have been told we are “too much,” “too distracted,” or “too emotional.” The truth is that your brain isn’t broken. It is beautifully complex, and once you understand how it works, everything begins to make sense.

Through my work in coaching, The ADHD Guide Online Course, and Workplace Wellness programs, I help women reconnect with confidence, compassion, and calm.

If you have ever felt like you are always catching up or constantly fighting your own mind, you are not alone. This space is for you 💛
