Stop Avoiding Fats! Your Body Needs Them.

You just have to be careful and consume fats and oils that are nutritious and beneficial for your health.

Seed oils are highly inflammatory and toxic! Not because of what they are made of, but because of HOW they are made.

Also, you shouldn’t be cooking with all types of oils. When heated, unstable fatty acids turn into toxins and carcinogenic substances. And who wants that?

Keep an eye out for Part 2 of this post to get a list of oils and fats you SHOULD BE consuming, and ones you should AVOIDING.

DEFINE: Priceless = Confidence. Resilience. Health. Life skills.

What do I do? In short: I change people’s lives for the better, forever.

Ever since I was a little kid, I played Teacher. I sat all my stuffies in a row and would teach them things I learned that day.

In high school, I’d help my classmates with their studies so they could do well in exams. I mentored kids with math and science so they’d better understand the subjects and overcome their worst enemy: themselves.

In university, I joined the student body so I could help make my Computer Engineering school a better, more enjoyable place.

I became a consultant, so I could help my clients improve their processes and controls and manage their risks better.

I became a fitness and pole dance instructor so I could teach others how to safely get strong and acquire new skills on and off the apparatus.

And I became a health and fitness coach… so I could help people like YOU change your life for the better, and help guide you to what will lead to a happier, healthier, more confident, longer life.

Have A Sweet Tooth? Eat Some Fruit 🍉 🍎 🍌 🫐

Having some FRESH fruit is the beat thing you can do for your body.

And no, they won’t make you fat.

I’m not talking about juices though. Liquid calories are way higher, the amount of fructose you consume is up there with a can of coke, and you literally remove a LOT of the fiber and nutrients fruits give you.

I’m talking about enjoying fruit on a daily basis. It’s a good thing!

They are high in fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and all of the things!

Aim for 1 portion per day eaten as dessert to keep the blood sugar levels in check, and as a pre or post workout so you can get more out if your hard work 😊 💪🏻

And if I had to choose just 1 fruit for the rest of my life, I’d choose BLUEBERRIES 🫐 They have the highest nutrient density of all fruits, are low glycemic index, anti inflammatory, low histamine… what else can you ask for?

Make sure you buy organic though as they can be very high in pesticides and toxins if traditionally grown.

Try some frozen blueberries as mini-popsicles this summer and lemme know whatchu think!

How Great Your Day Is Shouldn't Depend On An Object...

This is one of the top FEARS my clients have when they join my team: if the scale doesn't go down, it's my fault because they're not "losing fat".

WRONG! ❌

It's like the good ol' comparison of 1lb of feathers vs 1lb of steel: Which one weighs more?

They weigh the SAME!
But do they look the same? do they FEEL the same? Absolutely NOT!

All body fat has weight, but not all weight has body fat.
There are a number of things that can impact your weight:
- Water retention
- Carbohydrate intake (I'll make a post on this later with more info!)
- Stress
- Hormonal balance
- Spicy food consumption
- Sleep depravation
- How much you've 💩
- Whether you had alcohol or not... and the list goes on forever.

You CAN and SHOULD expect the scale to fluctuate, but not base progress on daily changes (or even weekly sometimes).

If you are working on building muscle while losing fat, you may increase in weight but be smaller.

If you're solely losing fat and cutting down, you should expect a DOWNWARD TREND in weight as weeks pass. But that doesn't mean you can't still see it go back up.

So to all my scale addicts out there:

YOU'RE IN A TOXIC RELATIONSHIP! BREAK UP WITH THE BULLY AND MOVE ON.

Here Are 3 Strategies To Magically Add An Hour To Your Day

You already wake up early, go to bed late, work hard, & can’t find enough time to deal with life, let alone take care of yourself.

It’s that feeling of groundhog day where you’re just running on fumes like a hamster on a wheel.

You have no energy left in the tank… and all you can think of is escaping and having some peace and well deserved R&R, even if just for a day.

I get it. I’ve been there. Too many times.

What if I told you there’s something you can do RIGHT NOW to break the cycle, enhance your productivity, and help you get more free time each day?

Trust me. It WORKS every 👏🏻 single 👏🏻 time 👏🏻

It’s all about an all-rounder approach… like this:

💞 FOR YOUR MIND: Empty your mind on a piece of paper - write down everything you need to do and want to do. All of it. Then rank it by urgency and importance, and highlight stuff that takes less than 15min to do. Choose 3 things from that list that are urgent + important! Do those TODAY and start with ones that are short. I also recommend closing social media for a day and see how you feel and how much more time you find yourself with 😏😉

💧FOR YOUR BODY: Drink up (water I mean 😜)- Staying hydrated will not only keep you satiated, but will give you mental energy, clarity, help you detox, lose weight,💩 and feel better overall. Aim for filtered or reverse osmosis water to keep the nasties out of your body (yes, tap water’s got’em!) - check my LinkInBio for Water & Wellness Discounts 🤩

🌱 FOR YOUR MOOD: Take a breath and sleep it off - Practice slow, diaphragmatic breathing for 5min before bed while focusing your mind only on the sound your breath. Then sleep for AT LEAST 7-9h each night. The breath will engage your ‘rest & digest’ nervous system allowing for better recovery, and sufficient sleep will allow your body to detox and your mind, to reset. This approach will gradually uplift your mood and decrease anxiety!

And remember - all you need is to get 1% better every day 💕

✨CLIENT SPOTLIGHT✨

This is what you can do in only a few weeks! 27lb lost and never coming back! Wish there was a way to portray his mindset Transformation though, as THAT is what was most remarkable to see.

I am SO PROUD of Guso, not only for how much he was able to transform during those 4 months, but the continued transformation he has carried on with on his own, applying everything he learned during the program.

He made no excuses for himself, even having 2 kids (one of which is a toddler), during the pandemic, working full time from home, and struggling for time. He would MAKE TIME for himself, for his health, preplanning his workouts and meals, and setting himself up for success. He made it work, and now he can’t see himself going back to his old ways.

One of his biggest wins was learning that food was not his enemy. When we started, he was eating less than a pageant competitor. Today, he eats as much as he needs to build his body and lose weight!
