THANK YOU to everyone who came out and braved the cold with us last Saturday for Coldest Night of the Year! This event was more than just a walk, it was an opportunity for connection, community building, and support for Wood's Homes programs in both Lethbridge and Calgary. 👏 With your fundraising efforts, we've raised over $80,000 (and counting)! For Inglewood, this means a brand new refrigerated van for our YCAP Market students, and for Lethbridge, a continuation of critical services in the community.

A huge shoutout to the volunteers, community partners, and event sponsors who made this day possible. 💚

Although it will be cold (make sure you bundle up 🥶), the weather serves as a reminder for why this event matters. By walking in the cold, you'll feel a hint of the challenge faced by those experiencing homelessness during winter, and through fundraising efforts, you'll bring hope and healing to Wood's Homes clients in your community who need support.

Coldest Night of the Year is only 2 DAYS away 😮 and our friends at Jack Carter are supporting our mission by partnering with us to make our dreams of a refrigerated van for our YCAP Market come to life! The Jack Carter Chev team has been a part of Wood's Homes CNOY since our first walk in 2023, and have consistently taken the crown for top fundraising team each year. 👑

Good food for a great cause! 🚲🍲✨

We are so proud of our Strategic Alliance with Wood's Homes and their Youth Culinary Arts Program YCAP Market! 🤝🙌 Whenever we host a swap in Calgary, YCAP is there to keep our volunteers fueled with amazing, chef-prepared meals. 🛡️🔄

Wood’s Homes does incredible work for youth and families in our community, and we love supporting them however we can—whether it's through catering or rebuilding bikes for kids in need! 🌈👟 Thank you, Wood's Homes, for all you do!

After our most successful Wood's Homes for the Holidays campaign yet, we want to reach out with a huge thank-you to YOU, our donors and community, for stepping up and making an incredible impact in the lives of the children, young people, and families we serve.

To echo a letter from a Wood's staff member at the William Taylor Learning Centre, "The kindness and compassion you showed to perfect strangers embodies everything we cherish about community belonging." 💌

Over the holidays, we saw 142 families adopted and nearly 700 families and young people receive gifts (163 of whom were between the ages of 6-12), and we couldn't have done it without you.

With you by our side, we look forward to another year marked by compassion and belonging.
