WRAPPING UP 2025
Astrologer and “Happiness Coach” Kari Samuels shared that one of the reasons 2026 will be powerful is that every planet will be in a new sign, which is something that we have never experienced before. She stated that it will be like every part of our life is asking for new adjustments at the same time, and that’s why the inner work we’re doing now matters.
As this year and this current nine-year cycle draws to a close, you may be feeling exhausted and perhaps discouraged by the accelerated pace of life and the intensity of demands on your time and energy. 2025 has been intense for everyone, and especially for those of you whose month and day of birth add up to nine. Some examples include: February 7, April 5, June 30, or double-digit birthdays such as May 13 (5+1+3), or August 19 (8+1+9).
I want to go on record as stating that the world is not a terrible place, that love, beauty, kindness and forgiveness are still alive and well here on Mother Earth, and that if we focus on the good that is what we attract into our lives.
Now that we are coming to the end of the year, let’s take some time to acknowledge our wins for 2025. I had a different article in mind when I started writing this newsletter, but today Spirit took over, and I was guided to download the following checklist.
In 2025 have you:
1 read some good books or watched some entertaining shows?
2 enjoyed live music?
3 enjoyed a scenic drive?
4 taken a vacation or a weekend away?
5 shared a good meal with family and friends
6 laughed every day or most days?
7 played with your pets or spent quality time with young people?
8 connected with one or more friends that you haven’t seen for a while?
9 learned something new or practiced a skill?
10 made gains with your health, career, cash flow or savings?
11 completed a project that involved a major investment of time and energy?
12 resolved a situation that was compromising your peace of mind?
13 developed or maintained consistency in a life-enhancing practice, such as exercise, meditation, journaling, or connecting with nature?
14 Sent loving thoughts and prayers to individuals or groups who are dealing with adverse circumstances?
15 Made a charitable donation?
16 expressed gratitude daily?
17 treated others with kindness, love and respect?
18 treated yourself with kindness, love and respect?
I suspect that everyone I know can answer yes to most of these questions and if that is the case, then give yourself a huge pat on the back because you make the world a wonderful place and YOU ROCKED 2025! Vikki MacKinnon
