For those of you that already order oils through Young Living, please consider donating to the YL Foundation to help with their efforts in Puerto Rico. ❤️
The Young Living Foundation team has landed in Puerto Rico today to assess needs and to transport hospital patients off the island. This opportunity came about when FEMA put out a call to all pilots to come and help transport patients who need ongoing medical care from Puerto Rico to Florida. Along with Vice President of Global Farms and Young Living pilot Mark Harris, we’ve answered that call and Gary Young and the Young Living Executive team are 100 percent behind the effort.
With this disaster, our greatest interest is to safeguard human lives (member or non-member) by bringing those who need medical attention to Florida and by providing supplies to vulnerable people as nearly half of Puerto Rico’s 3.4 million residents still lack potable water.
Help us do more
Young Living and the Young Living Foundation have come together to provide an initial start of $100,000 for these efforts, which will allow us to make multiple trips for about three days. We need your help to extend our time, so we can continue to provide more aid.
We will be on the ground today, and we will start to evaluate and identify the best way possible to help those Young Living members in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands and cooperate those efforts with local authorities. Be sure to follow the Young Living Foundation page closely for videos and updates from the field.
Here are three ways you can help:
1. Donate to our disaster relief fund here > > >
https://younglivingfoundation.org/disaster-relief
We’re looking to raise $1 million overall, and much of that will be used initially for recovery efforts in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Every $6,000 raised will support the cost of making a round-trip flight to Puerto Rico to bring aid and to rescue hospital patients.
2. Donate the following much-needed non-perishable food and dry goods. You can gather these items yourself or order through AmazonSmile and have them shipped to the Florida address listed below.
o Sawyer PointOne Squeeze Water Filter System, all-in-one version; click here > > > https://goo.gl/w7Xwp9 for the Amazon link
o Rice

3. If you live in the Sarasota, Florida, area, we invite you to come help us load the plane with the supplies starting as early as Tuesday, October 3. We will need help throughout the week, and we will need you to be flexible, as the plane will not return from Puerto Rico on a scheduled time. If you can help, please send your name and phone number to the following email address: volunteer@younglivingfoundation.org.
