Congratulations  to my baby brother and my amazing SIL RaeAnne! My sweet little niece Kaylee was born at 5:30am, October 26th. Being present at her birth was such an incredible privilege and will always be one of the best days of my life. I am absolutely in love with her and in complete awe of her amazing parents. I love you all more than I can put into words.

Ps. Can I move in? Kidding…kind of…🥰🤪

🎉 WE ARE ONE! 🎉

Welcome Baby Co. turns one today! What started as a shared passion between two friends has quickly grown into a thriving business! This past year has far exceeded our initial goals. Especially given that we started this amidst a global pandemic.

We are so grateful to all of our clients who have invited us in to support them through such a special and transformational time in their lives.

Thank you to our team. There are no words that could possibly sum up our gratitude to you all. We are so lucky to have such an amazing group of women who make up our organization.

We are so thankful to our community of birth workers, midwives, doctors and nurses who have cheered us on and given us referrals.

And to our families, thank you for patience and sacrifices, and being by our side over the past year as we have made this dream a reality.

This day is filled with lots of emotions and pride. We can’t wait to celebrate with our doulas virtually tonight!

I am 1 in 4.

My rainbow babies. 🌈 🌈 Not a day goes by that I’m not grateful to be mom to these two. Before each one of them I lost a pregnancy. It was crushing to lose babies I wanted so badly. Those loses rocked me to my core. Made me doubt my body in the darkest ways.

Today is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Day. I am thinking of anyone who has experienced loss. The loss of a pregnancy or an infant. Experienced stillbirth or infertility. You are not alone. ❤️

This is 37.

If my years have taught me anything it’s the power to have confidence in myself. Truly loving me for me.

They have also taught me how important the people in my life are to me. I am so blessed to be surrounded by so many amazing human beings. I feel like I have won the jackpot when it comes to family and friends. I feel so loved, not just on my birthday but every day.

Thank you all for the wishes yesterday. Even though we didn’t get our big party thanks to the pandemic, I still felt very celebrated. I love you all. ❤️

Happy Christmas Eve Eve. From our fam to yours!

We decided to make use of all this beautiful snow and go sledding. The sunset was a beautiful backdrop. And some nice person offered to snap a photo of all of us. It was nice because I’m almost never in the photos!

I’m very excited to announce the launch of my new project, Welcome Baby Co! My good friend Cayla Caufield and I have partnered, and have been working quietly these past few months to create a business that I’m truly proud of, and excited to watch flourish and grow. As many of you know I have a passion for teaching expecting families and supporting them through such an important time in their lives. This is why I am so excited that we will be offering engaging group prenatal education classes as well as both birth and postpartum doula services to round out the experience for our clients. I’m also thrilled and honoured that Natalie Borden and Mary-Lynne Stauble have decided to join us for the ride! We already have such an amazing team and vision.

Welcome Baby Co. was created by two good friends looking to support new families and build a parent community. Collectively Cayla and Jenn bring nearly 10 years of experience in the birth world to the table. Located in Calgary, we offer comprehensive and engaging group prenatal education classes designed to fully prepare you for the journey to parenthood, and the newborn stage.
