Big news…

After an incredible chapter building Calgary Aesthetic Clinic, I’m excited to share that I will be joining the team at Xthetics, a physician-led medical aesthetics clinic here in Calgary.

Building this clinic and working with so many amazing clients has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.

This next step allows me to continue growing as a practitioner while collaborating within a physician-led environment and expanding the treatments and results I can offer my clients.

To everyone who has supported Calgary Aesthetic Clinic, trusted me with your skin, referred friends, or simply followed along with my journey — thank you. It truly means so much.

Before I make the transition, I’ll be offering a client appreciation promotion for my final couple weeks here, which I’ll be sharing in my next post.

I’m incredibly excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to continue helping you achieve healthy, confident skin.

Acne doesn’t wait for a convenient time.

Hormones, stress, weather changes, workouts, travel, and even shifts in your routine can trigger breakouts at any time of year.

What matters isn’t chasing the next quick fix — it’s treating the source of inflammation in the skin.

Aerolase works differently.
This advanced laser gently targets acne-causing bacteria and inflammation deep within the skin while supporting healing and reducing the risk of post-acne pigmentation. No harsh irritation. No downtime.

It’s one of the reasons I use it as part of my acne protocols.

Clearer skin isn’t about rushing the process — it’s about using the right tools and supporting the skin properly along the way.

If acne has been a constant cycle for you, we can change that.

Good skin doesn’t need all day.

The Dermaplaning Express is a 30-minute reset for skin that looks dull, congested, or just needs to behave.

We start with a deep cleanse, professionally dermaplane to remove dead skin and peach fuzz, then calm and rehydrate with a soothing mask, cream, and SPF.

What this does (immediately):
• smoother texture
• brighter tone
• better product absorption
• makeup that goes on smoother and lasts longer

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, this is the easiest way to prep your skin so foundation doesn’t cling, cake, or separate.

Simple, intentional, and results-driven.

⏱ 30 minutes. Sharp results. Soft skin.
Book the Dermaplaning Express and get back to your life.

This one needs context.

GLP-1 medications are evolving, and with newer agents being discussed, including emerging compounds like retatrutide, there is growing conversation around skin changes, especially increased sensitivity, dryness, and reactivity.

This is not about a medication being good or bad.
It is about what can happen when the body is shifting quickly and the skin barrier does not get the support it needs.

Rapid metabolic change, reduced intake, and inflammation can all impact how well the skin adapts. When the barrier is compromised, skin can become more reactive. Treatments may feel stronger, products may sting, and healing can slow.

This is why I take a barrier first approach, especially when clients are experiencing metabolic or weight changes.

Before collagen. Before correction. Before pushing results.

Strong skin responds better.
Calm skin heals better.
Supported skin ages better.

If your skin feels different lately and you want to understand why, without fear or pressure, DM me GLP-1.

01/31/2026

If you’re on a GLP-1 medication and your skin suddenly feels different, you’re not imagining it.

Rapid weight loss can affect collagen, hydration, elasticity, and overall skin resilience. That doesn’t mean anything is wrong. It means your skin is adapting to change.

This is where supportive treatments matter.
Not aggressive fixes.
Not fear-based messaging.

Think collagen stimulation, inflammation control, barrier support, and realistic timelines.

Your body is changing. Your skin just needs the right guidance through it 🤍

If you’re on GLP-1s and unsure what’s appropriate for your skin right now, I’m happy to help you build a plan that supports long-term skin health.

Ever wonder why some microneedling results last… and others don’t?

This was a stacked skin rejuvenation session, combining:

✨ Aerolase laser rejuvenation to target pigmentation, sun damage, redness, and uneven tone while gently stimulating collagen

✨ Microneedling with salmon DNA (PDRN) to support skin repair, healing, elasticity, and long-term firmness

Different technologies, different depths — all working together to improve texture, clarity, and overall skin quality without over-treating.

And before he could leave…
I sat him back down for the most important reminder:
👉 Stay out of the sun and wear your SPF. Always.
(No laser or microneedling can outwork sun damage.)

This is how we get results that last — by respecting the skin, not attacking it.

🧴 SPF is non-negotiable

Save this if you’re curious about microneedling, laser for pigmentation, or treating sun damage the smart way.

Aerolase for melanin-rich skin | Fitzpatrick IV–V

This client has Fitzpatrick IV–V skin, which is where laser choice and provider expertise truly matter.

One of the reasons I love Aerolase is that it’s clinically proven to be safe and effective for all skin tones, Fitzpatrick I–VI — including melanin-rich skin that is more prone to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Unlike many traditional lasers, Aerolase uses ultra-short micro-pulses that treat inflammation, acne, redness, and pigmentation without overheating the epidermis or targeting melanin. That means powerful results with a significantly lower risk of pigment disruption.

✨ Safe for darker skin tones
✨ No epidermal damage
✨ No downtime
✨ Effective for acne, redness & hyperpigmentation

If you’ve been told laser treatments “aren’t safe for your skin tone,” it’s usually not true — it’s about the right technology and the right provider.

One thing I stopped doing years ago as a medical aesthetician:

Chasing “fast results.”

The skin always tells on you.

When you rush treatments, over-exfoliate, or layer actives…
you get inflammation, pigment, and chronic sensitivity.

Real skin change happens when you slow down and treat the why, not just the breakout or redness.

One treatment. One month. Real progress.

This hair restoration protocol combines microneedling with a targeted growth serum to wake up dormant follicles and support healthier, thicker hair over time.

Results continue to build with each session.

If your skin flares easily, breaks out along the jawline, or holds onto redness and pigment -Aerolase is often where we start.

Gentle. Effective. No downtime.
DM me “AEROLASE” and I’ll help you decide if it’s right for your skin.

That little pocket under the chin that won’t budge?
You’re not imagining it - and no, it’s not always about weight.

Fat dissolving injections can be used to refine the chin and jawline by breaking down stubborn fat cells that sit right under the skin.

This treatment is:
• Strategic
• Gradual
• And highly technique-dependent

Which is why it’s performed by our nurse, Sandeep Brar, after a proper assessment - not rushed, not overdone.

Natural structure > aggressive results. Always.
