Excited to announce that Honeycomb.ai is the winner of this year's NexStream competition in the Food Security category.

Thank you to the organizers at City of Campbell River and CRAAG (Campbell River Area Angel Group) for putting this together, and to the local community for welcoming us with open arms!

Honeycomb has already helped over 300,000 people find suitable food to eat (mostly across BC), and we're looking forward to expanding our service across Canada and the US in the near future.

To the many restaurants that have already partnered with us, we appreciate your willingness to adopt our technology to help streamline ingredient and dietary disclosure to those who need access. With dietary restrictions becoming more commonplace than ever, menu accessibility must become the norm and not the exception.

Cheers to a future of food with less anxiety and less flare-ups.

We are proud to be featured on Things That Are Open, a site that highlights local businesses finding innovative ways to serve the community.

In the article, our CEO Tamir explained that “browsing restaurants on delivery apps with allergies or specific diets can be very challenging… People eventually get tired of cooking at home and want to order something from outside.”

Tamir described how our goals were strengthened due to the crisis. “As soon as the shutdowns began, we realized that the need for our service was required more than ever. We made changes to our app on iOS and released an updated version that puts delivery and takeout from UberEats, Doordash, and SkiptheDishes at the forefront of the experience.”

Tbh you know what’s worse than endlessly browsing Netflix for movie that everyone agrees on, endlessly browsing Google for a restaurant that everyone wants to eat at. It’s especially annoying when you get angry af like me.
