Handcrafted Soap Bars
These bars are formulated with a nourishing blend of olive, coconut, castor oils, shea butter, and kaolin clay, scented exclusively with essential oils.
• Available Scents: Lemon-Clary Sage, Shea Butter Cream (light scent), Herbal Green, and “Beyond” Meat (a diluted Lemon-Clary Sage).
• Pricing: Large ($12 CAD) | Small ($6 CAD or 2 for $10).
Note: Future batches will transition to a palm oil and fragrance oil formula to provide an even creamier lather and a more robust scent profile.

These bars are truly premium— made with shea butter, olive oil, coconut and castor oil, pink kaolin clay and 100% essential oils. I can’t wait for you guys to try them for yourself! 😆❤️🧼

A Behind-the-Scenes Look at My Upcoming Body Oils!

As part of the upcoming spring launch, I’ve been working on two premium body oils—one of which is a Premium Vanilla Body Oil! I really wanted to show you guys a bit of my journey making this product so far, because it’s been such a labor of love.

The Truth About Vanilla
Vanilla has always been one of my all-time favorite scents, but when I started this brand, I learned the TRUTH about it. Most vanilla products you smell are actually synthetic or a mix of other extracts designed to mimic the scent.
The reality is that the vanilla bean is too delicate to survive typical essential oil extraction. It can usually only be extracted into CO2, which makes it extremely expensive, scarce, and incredibly difficult to source. This created a huge problem for me, because I am 100% committed to creating products made with only natural and clean ingredients.

My Solution: An Artisanal Infusion
I wasn’t willing to give up on the scent I love, so I found a solution! I’ve been hand-cutting hundreds of ethically sourced, Grade-A Madagascar vanilla beans. I split them down the middle and scoop out as much of the "vanilla caviar" as possible, letting the caviar and the beans infuse in golden jojoba oil for 4 to 6 weeks. After that, I’ll use a slow-heat infusion to squeeze out every last bit of that incredible vanilla aroma.

When I combine this "liquid gold" with fractionated coconut oil, sweet almond oil, and raw Vitamin E, it creates a truly premium, artisanal body oil that I’m truly so proud of.

I’ll have two sizes available for body oils this up-coming launch:
• 2oz | $22 CAD / $16 USD (the same size as my original body oils)
• 8oz | $55 CAD / $40 USD (this larger option will actually include cuttings of the Grade-A Madagascar vanilla beans used in the infusion!)

My first batch of soap is done! There’s a few things that need tweaking… but they do smell amazing. Now I have to wait 4-6 weeks for them to “cure”, then they’ll be available for purchase online and in-person here at Cedar Brook Flower Farm.
They’re vegan, moisturizing, premium artisanal bars— made with a blend of shea butter, coconut, olive, and castor oil. I’ve added kaolin clay for some “slip” and added colour. Using ONLY 100% essential oils or natural distillates for scent. Nothing synthetic!

Matt made his first soaps for Ager Apothecary. They're Lemon Clary Sage-scented, and they smell beautiful, but we have mixed opinions about their appearance.

A Quick Update (and a big thank you!)

Hi everyone! First, I want to give a huge thank you to everyone for the incredible support on the Ager Apothecary launch. Your energy has meant everything to me and truly keeps me motivated to create more.

As we look forward to spring, I’ve been working hard behind the scenes to evolve my brand! My goal is to make sure every product is not only vegan and plant-based; but also meets the highest standards for clean ingredients, sustainability, and ethical sourcing!

Because I refuse to compromise on these standards, I’ve run into some supply chain delays. To make sure everything is perfect, I’m unfortunately pushing the Spring Launch to late March/early April.
