Today's Mental Health Journal Entry:
Am I calling abundance into my life?

We long for change and great things to come our way, but are you making space for it to come to you? Do you believe in your heart you are capable/deserving of positive things to happen for you?

You've heard me say before, things don't happen TO us, they happen FOR us. So, when things happen, whether it's car breaks down, bills are difficult to pay, family member is sick, work is stressful, etc.... we can call in abundance to support our journey.

There are a few things that I share when it comes to bringing abundance into our lives, whether it's money, happiness, peace, solutions to problems, etc...

I first ensure that my mind and heart are clear of negative feelings and distractions. Meditation, exercise, a long walk to clear your head, listening to music... whatever works for you. I clear myself of the energy from the day/moment.

Then we tap into how we feel right now. Just to experience the feeling, we are not allowing ourselves to fall deep into the feeling, just observe it. Then when I have leaned into how I truly feel, I ask myself how do I want to feel?

The thing to remember is we must put ourselves into the alignment of RECEIVING from the universe. We are not just given solutions without first doing the work. The Universe doesn't give us things, it points us in the direction to receive what it is we want that is already there for us. We just have to believe it. Feel it. Acknowledge change is necessary and that we are deserving of it.

When you know how you want to feel, it's important to meditate and ask yourself what is the first thing I can do that will put me in alignment to receive the abundance I require?

Abundance flows when we allow ourselves to experience it. Low vibes, bad attitudes, disrespecting/not believing in the process, not believing in yourself, family karmic beliefs that we will always be poor/obese/addicts/unemployed/unhappy etc... because our family is... is not going to help you.

Money is often the big focus of what people need right now. Money is just energy! We are all energy. We just have to put ourselves into the mindset that we are worthy of receiving it. Mindset matters!

FEEL you having what you want. ASK for guidance to put you in the path to receiving. RELEASE all outcomes and maintain positivity and grace as you move through your coming days. We don't always get what we thought we wanted in the way we hoped it would come, so be open to all possibilities and be excited and more importantly LIVING IN GRADITUDE for the energy coming to you, and GRADITUDE that you have all you need, as though you already have it.

Today's Journal Entry:
What is holding me back from changing?

This is such a reflective question that we often avoid. What change are you wanting in your life? If you could have all you needed to make this change, how different would your life be?

How do you feel now? You know I ask this a lot in our healing. How do you feel now and how do you want to feel in the future? What relief comes to you when you feel as though you already have what you want? Is there relief? Does the pain go away? Do you feel happier?

What is holding you back right now from STARTING to get what you want? All we have to do today is start. Just a little thought can change our lives.

So, we don't want to know HOW we are going to get there. We just want to know THAT we will get there. This simple mind focus is huge for our core development. Especially if what is holding us back is bigger than ourselves. Such as financial strain, poor support systems, negligent/abusive relationships, etc.

As this is a general exercise, I am leaving this deep dive up to you how big of a change you are wanting to make. If you are at a point where you are wanting to make a big change, and don't know where to start, let me know. This is how I help people every day

A beautiful moment I witnessed was...

Journal a moment that you witnessed that left an impression, a deep core memory, of something special.

The birth of a baby? An act of kindness? Some selflessly care for someone else?
What is a beautiful moment that can inspire you to create one for yourself this week?

How did this moment make you feel in that moment? Was there a lasting impression? If so, how did it change your life?

Today's Journal Entry:
We are moving forward from yesterday's entry; diving deeper into how we can manage these stresses and get our sleep back on track.

So we have a clear image now of patterns of our week. We recognize some of the stress points of the week and now we have a great starting point to regaining control of your life.

So, let's look at those stresses first. What of those things you can cross off that you will not be doing again/dealing with regularly? How did you handle the difficulties this week? Are you still carrying pain, resentments, stress, sadness, etc about something? Are there areas you feel out of control of or feel like its not a quick fix?

Let's look at the easy stuff first. Focus on those moments (not relive them - we just want to acknowledge them) We want to thank the situation for what it taught you and release it from our hearts. Breathing exercises work great for this. Breathing with focus on your heart. Exhales you release the negative feelings and when you inhale, you bring in love and joy. Keep doing that until you feel that issue resolved and can let go.

Now on the bigger issues...

What is the hardest thing about this issue you have? Do you feel like you can't quit your job? if so, why is that? It is far easier than you think, and that society wants you to think... so think about what the perfect job would look like and find what you are truly lacking in your job now. Do you want to change careers all together? If fear didn't stand in your way, would you change jobs? Think about this, this is a good time in your life - as it's affecting your SLEEP for crying out loud. You deserve better! So, start looking for a new job based on HOW YOU WANT TO FEEL and HOW YOU WANT THE JOB TO PROVIDE FOR YOU. Not just location, or even pay. Do not settle. Do not take this great opportunity to evolve lightly.

Do you need to leave a relationship or change your friends group? Same as the job.... assess the energy of these folks. Are they taking from you more than they give (energetically, not in monetary or physical means). If you think about them not being in your life.... are you relieved? Just like in our social media challenge... we need to assess who is in our lives still affecting us.

Whatever your problem area is, there is a great solution and it really boils down to - is this in alignment with the life I want or are working to earn? Is this helping me get to where I want to be to find fulfillment?

Time to make some great decisions so that you can get your life back. So let's get you back on track. Long term lack of sleep is detrimental to your overall health. If you need help with this entry, let me know, I can help guide you through.

Today's Mental Health Journal Prompt:
My typical sleeping patters are... PART 1

Sleep, and you know this, is so important. Having odd sleep patterns myself, I can certainly relate to finding balance in your rest.

I would like you do think back on this week and to the best of your memory write down the times you slept, including naps. So, if Monday you had 5 hours of sleep from the night and then had a 30 min cat nap at 1pm, let me know. Then, when did you go to bed Monday night? Let's do our best to track our sleeping and see if there are any distinct patterns.

Children, pets, spouses who snore or talk in their sleep, lol, these are all common reasons why we don't get the best sleep. However, I really implore you to also think about the day and what you did. How were your emotions? Were there any visible conflicts? Difficult discussions? Hard to work with clients/co-workers that caused some stress? Where would you say the biggest stresses were in your week? You can mention work stresses and personal stresses.
Working? I do find that many of us focus on the stress of work and it over takes us - we bring that s**t home with us too. So, I do not want to spend too much time on the every day work bs. Just the work that may be causing you anxiety. Did you cry at work, or because of work? Were there big changes that affected you this week? Did you make a mistake and feel terrible about it? I want to document more than the catty fights that happen around you and the office politics... make sense?

Are there people, family, friends, neighbors, that you interacted with that caused stress? How did you deal with it? Did you carry that with you all week?

We are examining this today to bring light to our stressors and our whys when it comes to why we really do not sleep well. So, for today, write these down. You may even take the weekend to come back to this entry or start this again next week and keep track for the next week to gather more data for yourself.

Then, tomorrow, we are going to dive deeper into how we can manage these stresses and get our sleep back on track.

Today's Mental Health Journal Entry:
Write a letter to your former self.

Whether you wish to write this letter to the 10 year old you, or simply the you that you have grown from, I want you to reflect on your past and what you have overcome.

What challenges did the younger you have to deal with?

What situations tested your faith and perhaps made you stronger?

There could be many things, but the purpose of this exercise is to show gratitude and love to the former version of yourself. Maybe love and appreciation were something that you hadn't received at the time. You are given a chance right now to forgive. To heal. To thank. To hug. To understand..... who you were that got you here today.

What do you want your former self to know about the future you?

If that child/former self was wounded, how can you send love to them now? What had you needed then, that you can give to yourself now?

What did you want then that you put off on the back burner because life just got in the way? Are you living the life that would make your former self proud? If not... why is that? Did your interests change? Do you have different responsibilities than you thought you'd have?

This isn't meant to be a woe story about the shoulda-coulda-wouldas and I don't want you to necessarily get yourself down. This is meant to examine where you are in your life now because of where your life path lead you. More importantly, to love and send gratitude for your former self, thanking them for their strength, their determination to survive/succeed, for the strengthened intuition you have now because of your past... whatever it is... I want you to thank them for the gifts they have given you and give yourself the support and love you needed then.

Were you surprised by what came up for you?

Was there an entry that was particularly difficult to do? If so, which one and why did you find it difficult. Document how you felt about it then, and if you feel differently now. Perhaps if you couldn't write anything then.... see how you feel now that we are 2 weeks into the 30 day challenge?

What was your favorite and easiest to answer? Why is that?

How did you do with the challenge of cleansing your social medias? How many people or pages did you unfollow? Think about and please document how you have felt since you did that. Was it scary at first, nerve racking, thinking that people would find out you unfriended them? What does your new news feed look like? Is it more positive? How does it make you feel to have this cleanse?

Today, reflect on the questions above and any other daily posts in the past that you want to review and write about.
