***UPDATE FOR ACUPUNCTURE PATIENTS***

We continue to stay OPEN for clinic appointments and have made some adjustments to tighten up our COVID protocols:

- Our waiting room is temporarily closed. If someone accompanies you to your appointment, they should wait in the car
- Please arrive 5 min before your appointment time please stay in your car and call us (902 892-7788), we will let you know when to enter the clinic.
-Reminder: Masks are required.
-Upon entering the clinic please disinfect or wash hands and then you will be directed to you’re treatment room . After your treatment has been completed you will be asked to stay in the room until we come and get you.
-There is a limit of 1 person at a time at our reception desk.

Please note: We have an effective air filtration system and all areas of the clinic are disinfected before and after every patient.

SCREENING QUESTIONS
Do you have any COVID related symptoms: fever, chills, body aches, headache, sore throat, runny nose, severe fatigue, or cough? (If so please reschedule and call 811)
-Have you been out of the province in the last 14 days?
-Have you been in contact with anyone that has tested positive for COVID or is waiting for test results for COVID?
-Have you been in any notified “possible exposure” sites at the announced day and time?
(If so please reschedule and monitor for symptoms)

Electro-Acupuncture procedure in progress... This can be especially effective for conditions of pain and stiffness. Low frequency feels like a pulse such as a heart beat... Medium frequency feels like a soft vibration. We start with heat therapy to release tension and generate circulation.... followed by some manual release (massage) of soft tissue.. then acupuncture is the star 🌟 of the show.

Dr. Dave is knowledgeable and up-to-date in this regard. Also, you may be struggling with other health concerns that we may be able to assist you with.
