We all have that beloved older mare or gelding that everyone adores and would do anything for - and we recommend soaking ALL feed for them.

Hay cubes, pellets, other grains or supplements, even sometimes loose hay can be a choking hazard for our golden oldies. Soaking all feed reduces the risk of choke also increases water consumption - which can sometimes be lacking in our older friends.

As an added bonus, soaked hay cubes provide an excellent forage source that is also a very good way to mix in any medicines or supplements your horse may need without them noticing.

Pro Storage Tip - Keep those pallets!

Store your Greenway Forage Cubes & Pellets in a cool, dry environment, away from the sun. To preserve your cubes as long as possible store them on a pallet, away from building walls to decrease any condensation that could form in the bags. When stored properly, hay cubes and pellets have a shelf life of up to two years without losing nutrient value!
