One hour, individual, assessment or treatment sessions with Susie MacPhee, a Certified Athletic Therapist, located at Bragg Creek Physiotherapy. Assessments involve a thorough history, observation of posture and/or gait, testing of range of motion and strength of the affected area, special tests of specific structures, and palpation of the affected tissues. Treatments may involve any of the following; exercise instruction and prescription, manual therapy such as cupping or myofascial release, postural and breath training, kinetic-chain evaluation, and more. Rates:
Assessment $110.00
Treatment $80.00

Wintergreen (pyrolia asarifolia) is a small pink wildflower with leaves that stay green all year. It is native to western North America and grows at forest margins. It also happens to grow at the edge of my driveway. ❤️
Wintergreen contains a drug similar to aspirin. Its traditional uses by indigenous healers include; to stop bleeding, promote healing, mitigate swelling and relieve pain. It feels appropriate that these are some of my treatment goals when working with you!

Well, it’s been almost three years, and now it’s time to move on. I have made the decision to stop treating out of Bragg Creek Physiotherapy clinic. I loved my time there; with great clients and great clinicians and staff, AND I knew it was time to make a change.
What’s next? Good question! I will be evaluating what is going to be best for me, and my family, but I am going to take my time figuring that out.

I will miss the peaceful little clinic in the woods and everyone there, but luckily I will still see most of them around since we live in a small community! I’ll also see the deer around because they too are pretty happy hanging out in the hamlet. ☺️

One hour, individual, assessment or treatment sessions with Susie MacPhee, a Certified Athletic Therapist, in a private treatment room. Assessments involve a thorough history, observation of posture and/or gait, testing of range of motion and strength of the affected area, special tests of specific structures, and palpation of the affected tissues. Treatments may involve any of the following; manual therapies (such as soft tissue release, trigger point massage, myofacial release, etc), joint mobilizations, cupping, stretching and strengthening exercises, joint stability training, postural training and more. Additionally, you will often be given a home program of exercises to work on to help ensure that you are actively involved in your rehabilitation. Rates: Assessment $95.00 + gst Treatment $70.00 + gst (Some insurance companies cover Certified Athletic Therapy, check with your provider.)
