Part 2.

Do not think I am telling you to sweetly dispose of your rage in a safe way so you can move on in life la-di-da.

No.

You are simply venting the excess, releasing some steam, bring yourself and that fire to a place where your action have power, strength, clear purpose and discernment.

Your capacity to do this will make you far more effective in your ability to create change, to transform the world!!!

We aren’t arsonists!!

But our fire is important.
It is our tool of transformation, and finding our right relationship with it will bring us into our power to make change.

Pitta is how we describe a fire that is not serving us well… our appetite is big, we have burning digestion- heartburn, acid reflex, diarrhea. Our skin is aggravated.

Our rightful “feminine rage” could be beneath it. Needing a safe container to be expressed, felt, processed, and transformed. Allowing this lets us access the clear discernment, passion and motivation. The right action aligning, our dharma and life purpose surfacing.

Fire 🔥 is our incredible tool of transformation! Let’s use it well, and not destroy our life’s in the process.

We just crossed some threshold that I can't begin to explain... a new 9 year cycle, the Year of the Fire Horse, a Solar Eclipse, a new moon in Aquarius, and the daily crumbling of the world we knew and could trust and rely on.

*we are shifting paradigms to reclaim wisdom we have too long denied
*we are prioritizing a way of being that hold our feminine energy in equal regard to our masculine.

Ten minutes meditation or savasana.

That’s it.

We show up and do a practice with you.

Offer a consistent place to move, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

It is practical, steady, and grounded. It is a practice that you anchor, until it becomes a ritual. You, returning to your body, repeatedly, to ask how you are doing, and to be with the answers in an honest and compassionate way. To learn to support yourself from truth.

Since the day he made us parents, this kid has been showing us how to do life. He is a serial hobbiest. Diving into one thing with 100% enthusiasm, until that fascination runs its course. Feeding his interests kept us at the library every week, researching where to buy weird things like para-cord, and coloured/patterned duct tape. He whistles his way through life seemingly a wandering spirit, yet commits fully when there is something he is learning or exploring.

Proud of this one.

In a world where we keep being shown examples of really bad men, I am constantly reminded that the ones I am privileged to have in my life are REALLY GOOD. This man, my son... as well as my husband, my father, the partners, friends, and family around me - are filled with examples of good men. Connected not just to their masculine, but awake and aware of their qualities of care, compassion, curiosity, creativity, the feminine energy embodied in all of us.

Oof - processing this world is a lot.
In all my groups, the principle we cover aren't changing, but their importance feels vastly more essential. While the world around us is exposing us, bombarding us, confusing us, with constant, flooding, emotional messaging 24/7.

Keeping us FULL, TIRED, and UNCLEAR.

Ayurveda and Yoga, our Year of YOU, has showed us again and again, that we need to digest EVERYTHING that we consume, EVERYTHING that comes in through our 5 senses, our daily life, EVERYTHING energetic, metaphorically and literally infusing our environment - it all needs to be digested.

Or it gunks us up, clouds our focus, depletes our energy, and exhausts our system. This is a campaign to stop us accessing our power and wisdom.

Be careful.
Discerning.
Set Boundaries.
Hold Them.

It feels impossible.
But it isn't.
Hard, yes.
Asking more of us than anything has before - perhaps.
But for love to win... each one of us is needed. Please find your light and practice letting even just a small bit of it out to shine.

Be careful.
Be discerning.
Set Boundaries
Hold them

Love you people.
Breath in love and light, hold your rituals tight.
Fall back into your habits with intention and awareness.
Choose them - because of how they make you feel.

Thursday.
We are almost there.

Lets connect.
Do the reps, to remind ourselves that we are whole, complete, enough.
That we can show up in the world with compassion when our cup is full.

30 minutes of yoga asana, movement and breath.
10 minutes of meditation, sitting in silence.

We practice.
We practice, so that when life throws us, we know our way back. We have a well trodden path that connect us to US.

Take time to ask what you need, how you are doing, and invite breath and movement in. Intentionally ignite your AGNI - your fires of digestion - to help you process what you eat, and what you consume in life.

Support yourself with a delicious 30 min practice, followed by a guided Savasana.

Savasana is the rest, the stillness, the integration that follows a breath-body practice. It is the way your body accepts and absorbs the Ojas, Tejas, and Prana that you have introduced.

This practice expands:
capacity - Ojas
discernment - Tejas
life force energy - Prana

We’ve been training one muscle our whole lives: our intelligence.

The mental, logical, problem-solving part of us is strong and reliable. It is also overworked and overwhelmed.

Yet, we keep asking it to do more. To find more answers, to come up with new solutions. It isn't the part of our being built to help us navigate uncertainty, chaos, lack of control, and moments where there is no clear answer.

That’s like going to the gym and only ever training chest and arms, but forgetting those little legs (You can picture this guy right?)

We have other "muscles" designed for these moments.

Your intuition.
Your body wisdom.
Your inner knowing.

We aren't discounting our intellect, but bringing in some support for it. Partnering with it. Lets recruit our whole being wisdom - mind, body and spirit.

Our Free Sister Science Community exists to help you start doing the reps.
Again and again.
Creating a well-worn path back to yourself.

Believing in someone is a huge gift. If I understood Spanish better I would have heard Bad Bunny tell everyone they need to believe in themselves, as he offered a message of love and unity at the Super Bowl last night. Even without Spanish, I understood his message.

Believing in yourself is hard, and one thing that makes is easier, is when someone else does too. When someone else can see your light, encourages your sparkle, and even when you are listening to the voices that shake that belief, that persons singular belief can be enough.

When we offer someone our belief, we are telling them - I know you are enough, I know you are wise, I know you are capable, I know you can.

To believe in each other we need to communicate, be compassionate and offer our most generous assumptions in our relationships. This is how we foster love in our world.

Believe in someone.
And let that help you believe in yourself.

This is a skill we actively practice, a tool we exercise, as we learn to "believe" here at Sister Science.

Start your Monday morning with me.

Join our Sister Science community, grab your mat, and sink in for a 30 min practice, followed by a 10 minute silent meditation.

Show up in your pj's. Ignore any pose your body doesn't like.
Use the class as an intentional check in time to be with you.
Invite breath into your body, let it infuse you with life force energy.
Refill every cell with this juicy prana.
Stretch, twist, balance, stand and with every movement of your body invite back every corner of you into your day. This is neuromuscular connection. This is neuroplasticity in action.

Find the nooks and crannies that you don't speak to in your regular routines.
Shine a light on them.
Nourish them, saturating each cell with nourishing breath.

Sound delicious?
It is.

We are asking big questions in Sister Science about HOW you strengthen muscles beyond the mind? How can we "do the reps" to not just expand our intellect, but connect to our wisdom.

When you move past the TO DO LIST as being a checklist of accomplishments, and a list of things that bring you to certain feelings you get a step closer.

We asked Year of YOU members what they FELT when they did things exactly as their body wanted them too. We asked them to imagine the 10 Key Habits that we practice being done exactly the way their body wanted them done. From eating, sleeping, moving, meditating, self massage and 5 more.... when you practice it the way your body wants... what does your body say in return.

Lots of words came up... over and over again, the body shared a sense of appreciation, relief, peace, love. One woman said she had written Calm 4 times, Content 3 times, Nourished a few times, and Grateful more than once.

Calm, Content, Nourished, Grateful. CCNG would be the acronym.

What if everyday on your TO DO LIST you wrote CCNG on your to do list and MADE SURE that you did something that led you to that feeling.

What if you practiced the 10 habits.
What if your body continually, over and over again, came back to feel CCNG?
What if it knew the path to this place as quickly and easily as it know 5x4 (I mean not something crazy like 9 x 6 but something you could do in one second because you have repeated it enough that the answer is accessible).

What if you could return to this place. daily, hourly, what if it could be there for you everytime life tosses you out of it. You knew the reliable path back?

That is what we do here at Sister Science.

How does your body speak to you when you treat it well, love on it, do something exactly the way it has asked you to do it? What would your acronym be on your TO DO LIST?
