At Cornwall Regional Physiotherapy a variety of patient conditions are treated including back and neck pain, with and without nerve root impingement, sprain and strain injuries, tendonitis, bursitis, plantar fasciitis, pain and loss of motion and function related to degenerative joint changes, soft tissue injuries related to falls and motor vehicle accidents, fractures post immobilization, Total knee and hip replacements, post surgical rotator cuff repairs, post mastectomy, ACL reconstructions, arthroscopic knee surgeries, back surgeries, stroke patients, patients requiring postural drainage and education in home exercise programs. Our clinic has provided treatment to patients who require the use of a wheelchair, walkers, crutches and canes. This clinic receives referrals from family physicians, surrounding medical clinics and emergency department physicians. Over 85% of our patients have returned at later dates to our clinic because they have been satisfied with their previous care, others have been advised by a friend or through word of mouth and/or the fee schedule and provision of online billing. Cornwall Regional Physiotherapy clinic is also a Provider for the following services and bills according to their rates, schedules or programs of care:

📣 As heavy snow begins to drift up against your home on days like today, here is a reminder to keep your exhaust vents clear in snowy conditions. Regularly check and clear snow and ice buildup around the vents of your furnace, water heater, dryer, and other appliances that vent outdoors.

Make sure you have carbon monoxide alarms inside your home to provide an early warning of increasing CO levels. These alarms should be placed in a central location outside each sleeping area and on every level of your home. If the alarm goes off, or you think you may have CO in your home, call 911.

Physiotherapists have extensive training and knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions, assessment, diagnosis and treatment. Physiotherapists with triaging and screening roles in orthopaedics generate cost savings for the system, since they order fewer x-rays and eliminate unnecessary referrals to orthopaedic surgeons.

We call on Sylvia Jones FordNation and Dr. Karima Velji to remove the barriers and allow physiotherapists to work up to their full scope practice, which includes diagnostic imaging.

‼️‼️NEW VENDOR ALERT....We are thrilled to announce that Aultsville Station Country Shop has joined the South Stormont Chamber of Commerce' Travelling Trade Show lineup happening September 13th and 14th 2024. Another great stop on the map featuring rustic country decor in their store in a their beautiful repurposed barn on Anderson Road.

We visited this lovely gift shop recently and asked a few basic questions about Krista and Delaney's business. Here are his answers....⬇️

❓When and how did you develop your business?

🅰️I previously owned a gift shop in Finch, and I loved it. Then I had a Vision and thought it would be perfect to start a gift shop right here at our 50 acre hobby farm in our barn. The atmosphere of our barn was perfect for my giftware which is primitive and rustic and is perfectly complemented by the rustic decor of the space. I also wanted to provide a place for my special needs daughter, Delaney, to work and shine…and she has been an important part of the business. We opened up Aultsville Station Country Shop on May 12 2023-Mothers Day Weekend. Krista and Delaney are here to provide great service and beautifil gifts and decorative items at our Rustic Country Gift Store.

❓How has your business evolved since you opened your business?

🅰️In January 2024 we decided to “Go Big or Go Home” and we opened up additional space in the barn for our products in response to customer demand. We now sell our beautiful rustic decor in a larger space providing an enhanced shopping experience.

❓What are your business hours?

We are open Wednesday to Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and on Sunday from 10 am till 4 pm to serve our customers.

❓What do you enjoy most about your location?

🅰️We love working close to home and we love that our hobby farm provides a shopping environment that our customers love. They love the whole atmosphere and rustic feel of the barn, the house and the farm when they come to visit. We love providing a local shopping experience and we love that our customers call our store the “Hidden Gem" on Anderson Road”

❓What are your unique services?

🅰️We sell artificial “real touch” flowers which look and feel exactly like real flowers. We design and create custom arrangements in our high end flower shop.We also create flower arrangements in special vessels that our clients bring in to us which match exactly to their decor or theme. We have started provided customised small floral centrepieces for special events such as weddings. Rentals may be offered for these as well.

❓What is on the horizon for your business?

🅰️We will be starting to roll out our fall decor over the month of August. We are also going to expand our online presence by developing our online store. Krista and Delaney have a big vision for this direction.

‼️‼️NEW VENDOR ALERT....We are thrilled to announce that Balloon Artist, Katie, owner of Balloon Babes has joined the South Stormont Chamber of Commerce' Travelling Trade Show lineup happening September 13th and 14th 2024. She will have various Balloon creations at different stops on the Travelling Trade Show...creating a mini scavenger hunt. There will be 8 different balloon designs to find- whoever finds all eight will be entered for a $50 gift card. We think that is a great idea and look forward to seeing what she comes up with.

We asked a few basic questions about her business. Here are the answers....⬇️

❓When and how did you develop your business?

🅰️I started Balloon Babes in October 2020 during Covid as a delivery service for helium bouquets. I originally saw a previous balloon company selling their store and thought that would be a fun business but didn’t have the space for the inventory and thought I could just do the balloons! Once I made my goals things quickly “blew up” and we had to move out of Cornwall to a house with space which landed us in Ingleside!

❓How has your business evolved since you opened your business?

🅰️When we opened I thought it would be a side hustle, and only to friends and family and only helium bouquets. What it’s turned into is balloon decor business and I now do anything balloons, from garlands, arches, sculptures as well as light up marquee rentals, wall rentals, and more!

❓What are your business hours?

This is hard for me I try to have my hours as Monday to Friday 9:30-4:30 and Saturdays 9:30-12 closed Sundays. However, I am always working outside those hours. Having a home based business sticking to business hours is impossible!

❓What do you enjoy most about your location?

🅰️We are home based business, and we don’t have walk-in clients so I love the feeling of not being locked down to one place. Most of my work is deliveries so on the road a ton!

❓What are your unique services?

🅰️I am a Balloon Artist! I can create almost anything with balloons.
Some of my client favourites are Garlands, Arches, Helium Balloon Bouquets, Columns, Balloon Costumes, and a my absolute favourite are Balloon Sculptures- Cornwall Square has had many of my BIG sculptures!
