Help us spread the word for our local Cornwall CVS - UCDSB Interact Club officially launched their Relay for Life Campaign and they NEED TEAMS!!

Today, April 1st, 2026 the CCVS Interact Club officially launched our Relay for Life campaign. Relay for Life will take place at CCVS field on Saturday, May 23 from 1-7 PM.

Students, staff, community members are encouraged to sign up, form a team, and raise a minimum of $50 per person. You can collect cans, run a car wash, sell lemonade or hound distant family members to reach this minimum goal you don't have to pay it yourself but you are welcome to.

The registration fee is a separate $20 which covers your t-shirt, food for the day, drinks for the day, and luminary for the closing ceremonies.

All fundraising proceeds go towards supporting the Canadian Cancer Society, a great cause and something that truly matters as we can all think of someone who was been helped or touched by the Canadian Cancer Society. Our goal is $10,000. Let's do this CCVS!

We are so excited to introduce Annie Fontaine to the New Mindset Therapy team 💛

Annie is a final-year Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work student with over 10 years of experience supporting children, youth, and families in mental health settings. She is now expanding her work to include adult clients — bringing with her a depth of compassion, experience, and cultural understanding that truly sets her apart.

Annie’s approach is both evidence-based and holistically grounded, integrating:
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
• Trauma-informed care
• Solution-Focused therapy
• Play therapy & family coaching
• Mindfulness practices
• Indigenous frameworks such as the Medicine Wheel

She believes that healing is not one-size-fits-all — and works to meet each client exactly where they are, supporting their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.

UPDATE

I am truly grateful for the kindness and support so many of you have shown me.

My recent abdominal surgery went well, and I am currently recovering while awaiting pathology results and clarity on treatment.

I will be returning to MyoMasters in March. However, as I continue to navigate upcoming medical appointments and a second procedure, I would like to apologize in advance for any potential cancellations. Being reliable is something I take very seriously, and I am deeply grateful for the understanding and grace my clients have shown me during this time. Please know that I will make every effort to reschedule any affected appointments as promptly and smoothly as possible.

I want to sincerely thank my clients and supporters for their thoughtful messages, well wishes, and for reaching out during this time. I look forward to working with you again soon.

💛 Community Support for Chantal 💛

Hello friends,
My name is Julie, and as many of you know, I’m the other half of MyoMasters Massage Therapy.

I’m sharing this with a heavy but hopeful heart. My business partner and dear friend Chantal is currently facing unexpected medical issues that require multiple surgeries. At this time, we’re unsure how long she’ll be away from work, but her recovery is expected to take weeks to months with periods of rest in between scheduled surgeries.

As a self-employed Registered Massage Therapist, time off means no income, while everyday living and medical travel expenses continue — for both Chantal and her daughter.

We’ve started a GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden so Chantal can focus on what truly matters: healing.
