Breathing Ground I hope that you find space here to take a breath, relax for a moment, and learn some ways to create balance and wellness in your life.

I'm a Registered Yoga Teacher. I also lead meditation classes for women in my community. People leave my classes looking happy, refreshed, relaxed, and grateful. My interests are nutrition and cooking, organic gardening (which I also teach), music, hiking, and living lighter on the earth. I love learning new things and sharing them with others.

How's your memory these days? Or maybe you're concerned about a parent's memory. Did you know that certain Yoga techniques have been proven to help focus, concentration, and memory?
The Mudra (specific hand position) in the video will help improve memory and concentration. It also increases the flow of communication between the two hemispheres of the brain.

Hakini Mudra is simple to do, and if you practice it daily, you might notice effects within a couple of months. Sunrise is the best time of day to practice this mudra. It's named after HAKINI, the goddess of imagination, clairvoyance, intuition and inner knowing.
