A horrible cold snap in Novemeber, temps dropped to -25C overnight plus a horrid blizzard!!
When I finally got to the field Zuzu was shiverring terribly, covered in snow. She was not a strong baby as she was bottle fed although I was getting the best possible milk replacement. She had already had pneumonia a couple of times.
So I put blankets over her and she stood for about an hour with her head inside the truck where the heater was blowing. Finally she stopped shivering, and with a few bottles of warm milk she was getting calmer and warm. I knew we need to get out of Alberta right there and then.

Zuzu started eating fresh grass as we decided she should join the rest of the herd (she was 3.5 months here) so she is able to be with them and not realy just on the bottle.
It was not great for here as she started growing a belly, typical of babies that are not fed with mom's milk :( I will of course still bottle feed here daily in the fields!!

I'd celebrated every month of her birthday after that, completely mad in love with her and tormenting her with selfies and b-day hats! 😍🎉🥰
