What a great opportunity for schools to partner with Variety to bring better opportunities for inclusion to their school communities.

We would be happy to help you work towards getting a Soundbeam, an adaptive cycle (Duet/ Diaz/ Orthros), all terrain wheelchair (Hippocampe), or adaptive stroller (Josi/ Benecykl/ Kari).

Team Spark had an amazing little day trip to Powell River and Willingdon Creek Village this past week.
We brought the innovative VeloPlus wheelchair bike to demo and had the opportunity to take several folks for a spin.
It was a whole lot of fun and the smiles were contagious that afternoon.
Afterwards, Cole and I went for a little ride ourselves to see what local trail opportunities existed nearby for this team to run a bike program.
They have the most beautiful local loop right out their door 😍.

We had SO MUCH FUN! Sparks of joy were everywhere as people biked, paddled and rolled in new ways.. often for the first time.

Thanks to Adapt Island, Nanaimo Child Development Centre and all the awesome vendors and exhibitors who participated.

Would love to see this have-a-go type event grow roots in other communities. Contact Adapt Island if you want to support organizing one in your Vancouver Island community.
