Under the drooping majestic tree, we sat at our T/A's court. The youth group shared their passion to stop early teen marriages for kids and the need for each child to be in school and get an education. Local authorities and chief's came to hear their plea's.
The T/A supports their endeavors as they align in many ways with our hopes.
I was able to share we need to help them with their emotional, physical and spiritual needs.
I wish this country would not put so much emphasis on uniforms. Each child desires to be educated. Many can not get the education as their is much poverty. A uniform would cost wages for a length of time. Espically as many are struggling to put food on the table.
Our friends from Canada got to see the way the T/A works here.
Right after leaving, a day later, a woman came begging for us to take in her children. I said no. We are supporting her to get uniforms, exercise books and pens and food for them.
The struggle is so real here. 🛖
