Ever since wearing a mask has turned into normal every day life, it has been truly brought to our attention that wearing a face covering absolutely does interfere with our ability to portray emotions.

A recent study concluded that smile intensity has been associated with attractiveness and trustworthiness.

Facial coverings have impaired our ability to convey emotional cues with our mouth therefore we find ourselves relying on periocular expression 👀
