Great game today between and Got to take my second oldest son with me who’s visiting for the holidays. Unfortunately Vancouver lost it in overtime. Hopefully soon we’ll have a PWHL team in Edmonton!

What if questioning the “rules” is your greatest strength?
As a q***r trans man and life coach, I’ve learned something powerful: my existence has always asked questions. Not because I’m trying to be difficult, but because authenticity requires it.
Questions like:
• Who says there’s only one way to love?
• Who decided what success should look like?
• Who wrote the rules about family, gender, or purpose?
And here’s what I know: if you’ve ever felt like you don’t fit the mold, you’re not broken. You’re just asking better questions.
The systems we inherit weren’t designed for everyone. They weren’t designed for nuance, for complexity, for the full spectrum of human experience.
But you don’t have to shrink yourself to fit them.
In my coaching practice, I work with people who are ready to:
✨ Define success on their own terms
✨ Build lives that honor who they actually are
✨ Question the narratives that never felt quite right
✨ Create their own roadmap, not follow someone else’s
If you’re tired of forcing yourself into spaces that weren’t made for you, let’s talk.
You deserve a coach who understands that sometimes the most radical act is simply living authentically—and who can help you build the life that proves it’s possible.

We’ve had a rough couple of weeks around here. A few of us were sick, I had final exams, Steph had to say goodbye to her beloved fur baby 🐶 and to top it all off, on Saturday afternoon our house was broken into and Steph’s truck was stolen. We managed to recover the truck, mostly unscathed, but we are all still reeling a bit from the violation of it all. When life is stressful like this, I am so grateful for the strong healthy relationship that Steph and I have built and the family bond that we have all formed. We are looking forward to the next few days being filled with family, friends, traditions, food, and most of all love! Happy holidays from our family to yours 🎄💗 ***rfamily

The grief of leaving a community often isn’t what we think it is.
Yes, we mourn the people, the rituals, the belonging. But underneath that loss lies something deeper: we’re also grieving the version of ourselves who stayed small to fit in.
We’re mourning the realization that connection came at a cost—that staying meant silencing parts of who we were, reshaping ourselves to belong, abandoning our truth to keep the peace.
This kind of grief is layered. It holds both the real loss of safety and connection AND the tender recognition of how much we gave up to maintain it.
If you’re feeling this right now, know that it’s not just about what you left behind. It’s also about what you’re finally allowing yourself to become.
And that takes courage worth honoring.
If you’re navigating this kind of transition and need support in reclaiming the parts of yourself you set aside, I’d love to work with you. DM me to learn more about my coaching services.

You’re right on time for your life. The perfect time to choose you is now. I have chosen myself more in this year than I think I have at any other time in my life. Are you ready to start choosing yourself? Drop a “heck yeah” in the comments!

I want you to ask yourself quietly, What am I still waiting for permission to do?
And where am I betraying myself just to stay comfortable?
Put the word “recording” in the comments and I’ll send you the link to watch the full recording of my webinar.

Do you live somewhere with limited sunlight this time of year? We get decent sun during Alberta winters but our days are definitely feeling short right now. What are December’s like where you live?
