✨ Coming back to my garden harvest has been such a treat—this season it’s overflowing with fresh green onions! With that abundance, I decided to whip up some crispy green onion cakes. The batter is simple—just a 1:1 ratio of water and flour—shallow fried in a light, healthy oil until golden and crunchy. A sprinkle of sea salt on top, and they’re perfect for dipping into a homemade Sriracha–soy–hoisin sauce. Trust me, it’s the ultimate savory snack. 🥢🌿
And because summer isn’t complete without something light and refreshing, I also made fresh shrimp salad rolls. Wrapped in delicate rice paper, packed with crisp veggies, herbs, and juicy shrimp, they’re as beautiful as they are delicious. Paired with a creamy homemade peanut sauce, they make the perfect gluten-free lunch or snack—ideal for anyone keeping an eye on carbs while still wanting something flavorful and filling. 🥬🍤🥜
💚 It feels good to be back in the kitchen and back into a routine of creating healthy, tasty meals that fuel both body and soul.
