The Chiropractic Association of Alberta operational team was thrilled to join Terra Centre’s Clothes Closet to help sort clothing for children and support families in Edmonton. We are always excited to contribute to volunteerism through United Way and strengthen community connections.

This season, we encourage everyone to find ways to give back—small acts of service make a big difference.

On Tuesday, the Chiropractic Association of Alberta hosted Hill Day at the Alberta Legislature, a full day dedicated to advancing evidence-based musculoskeletal care in Alberta’s health system. Our leadership team met with the Deputy Minister of Primary Care and Preventative Health, Parliamentary Secretaries, and MLAs to share how chiropractors play an essential role in rehabilitation and improving outcomes for Albertans.

Our strategic plan reflects a profession ready to collaborate, rooted in evidence, and focused on patient-centered care. From embedding chiropractic within publicly funded models to fostering interprofessional learning and innovation, we are committed to building a cohesive MSK rehabilitation environment.

Watch for our next post featuring the full video recap of Hill Day and all the meaningful moments that made it a success.

Healthcare Excellence Canada is launching a new Patient Safety Action Series, a free, four-month online program designed to help healthcare teams implement small changes that make a big impact.

Why join? Dr. Kelly Fleck of Baseline Chiropractic & Wellness Centre used the series to:
✔ Create a clinic-wide safety strategy
✔ Improve consent processes
✔ Introduce daily safety huddles
✔ Foster a “no shame, no blame” culture

Now it’s your turn to make care safer and more inclusive.

The Toasty Toes 2025 is officially wrapped!

Over the past month, chiropractic clinics across Alberta collected thousands of socks to support individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty. The creativity and commitment shown by our members was truly inspiring.

We’re now working with United Way to finalize the total count, and these donations will soon be distributed to those who need them most as temperatures begin to drop.

We're so incredibly grateful to every clinic, team member, and donor who helps make the Toasty Toes campaign a huge success each and every year. Your efforts are helping keep our fellow Albertans warm this winter!

As Canadian Patient Safety Week comes to a close, we want to thank everyone who joined us in raising awareness, sharing insights, and celebrating the everyday actions that lead to safer care.

This year’s theme, All Voices for Safer Care, reminded us that safety is a shared responsibility—and that meaningful change begins with listening and collaboration.

We invite you to continue the conversation by joining our Patient Advisory Committee, where your experiences and perspectives can help shape future initiatives and improve care across Alberta.
Whether you attended a webinar, participated in a poll, or shared your thoughts online—thank you for being part of this important movement.

Let’s keep the momentum going.
