FEBRUARY 2026 BABIES 🤍

Two beautiful, unmedicated births this month—both mamas fully trusting the physiology of their bodies. Spontaneous labor, instinctive pushing, and the kind of quiet strength that reminds you how powerful birth truly is.

Watching women lean into what their bodies were designed to do never gets old. These were calm, grounded, incredibly strong births—and such an honor to witness.

Now we wait… one more February baby is still on the way and could arrive any day. 💛

JANUARY 2026 BABIES ❄️

This year kicked off with a fast and furious home birth—mama barely had time to blink before her baby was in her arms. Absolute powerhouse energy.

The other two births were powerful in a different way. Both mamas poured everything they had into pursuing a physiological birth, holding tightly to their hopes, preparing deeply, and showing up with courage. And while their babies had different plans, these women made every decision with clarity and strength. Their births didn’t follow the script, but their peace and power never left the room.

Birth isn’t about how it looks—it’s about how it’s owned.
And these three owned it. 💛

2025 — by the numbers 🤍

But also… by the tears, the prayers, the long nights, the hand-holding, the whispered “you’re doing it,” the trust, the pivots, the strength I witnessed up close.

52 births.
Homes, birth centres, hospitals.
Water, land, fast, long, smooth, messy.
VBACs. VBAC2Cs. A twin VBAC 🤍
Breech births. Transfers. Unexpected turns.
Tiny babies. Big babies. Early babies. Post-dates babies.

463 hours of support.
28 hours straight with one family.
So many first-time moms becoming mothers.
So many families trusting me in their most vulnerable moments.

Not every birth went to plan — but every birth was held.
With information. With advocacy. With calm. With respect.

This work humbles me every single year.
It stretches me. Grounds me. Reminds me why I said yes to this calling seven years ago.

Fearfully & wonderfully made — every baby, every mother, every story.

NOVEMBER 2025 BABIES 🍂

Six beautiful babies, six unforgettable stories.

This month was rich with strength, surrender, and resilience. I supported three incredible first-time mamas—one who navigated a big shift in her birth plan with grace, another who completely rocked an unmedicated water birth, and one who amazed me with a strong, beautiful direct OP vaginal birth. Absolutely fierce.

One brave mama brought her twins into the world in a successful VBAC, despite the doubts and limitations placed on her by others. She trusted deeply—and it paid off in the most powerful way.

Another repeat client made calm, wise, grounded decisions in the face of an unexpected outcome. Her strength and patience through it all were a quiet force. I’m so proud of her, and of every single woman I supported this month.

November reminded me (again) that no matter how a birth unfolds, there is always courage in the room. And that is what matters most.

Designed for moms who are ready to move again, whether you’re returning to training after birth or trying CrossFit for the first time. Each workout follows true CrossFit methodology — constantly varied, functional movements performed at intensity — with smart, postpartum-aware modifications where needed.

OCTOBER 2025 BABIES 🤍

October brought three deeply powerful births—each one etched with strength, surrender, and courage in the face of the unknown.

One mama achieved a victorious VBAC, reclaiming her story with such bravery and grace. Two others planned for out-of-hospital births but made the wise and courageous decision to transfer when plans shifted. One reached her goal of a beautiful, vaginal birth—proof that flexibility is strength. The other faced the hard reality of a breech baby tightly entangled in the umbilical cord. While the outcome led to a necessary cesarean, she walked through it with fierce faith, knowing she did everything right.

Birth is never about perfection—it’s about presence, intuition, and peace in the process. Each of these women reminded me just how strong, capable, and powerful mothers are… no matter how their stories unfold.

Welcome, October babies. You were ushered in with love, strength, and honor. 💛

SEPTEMBER 2025 BABIES 💙

Five beautiful babies closed out summer and ushered in the fall—each one with a story that left me amazed.

September brought all hospital births, but no shortage of power. One mama rocked a successful VBAC, rewriting her story with such courage and grace. Three were strong first-time moms who met their labors with quiet determination and so much patience. And I had the honor of supporting one of my dear repeat clients—proof that these doula bonds really do last beyond just one birth.

Every single mama reminded me: strength doesn’t always roar… sometimes it breathes, surrenders, waits, and rises when it’s needed most.

📚✏️ Back to school vibes! We’ve officially got kids in grades 2, 4, 6, and 8 this year. 😳 How did that happen so fast?! Proud of each of them stepping into a new year with courage, curiosity, and big dreams ahead. Here’s to fresh pencils, early mornings, and watching them grow into who God made them to be. 💜

AUGUST 2025 BABIES 💚

Four beautiful births. Four powerful stories.

This month kicked off with a mom who defied the odds and brought her baby earthside through a victorious VBA2C—after being told it “couldn’t be done.” Her trust in her body, her baby, and the process was unwavering.

And then there was the 42+4 queen—delivering her baby in the most God-centered, peaceful, physiological way. She waited patiently, trusted fully, and arrived at the hospital just in time for the most incredible birth. These are the stories that remind me how perfectly designed our bodies are when left to do what they were made to do.

And now, just as we flip the calendar…
It’s Labour Day, and the first September baby is officially on their way! 🙌
Let’s go, sweet one. You’re already making an entrance we won’t forget.

Grateful. Humbled. Energized for what fall may bring.

About Brittney

Brittney is a mom of 2 miracle boys, who after surviving Leukemia in 2010, was told she would never conceive her own children. Through patience, prayer, and much emotional struggle she fell pregnant, naturally, with her first. With so many necessary medical interventions during her cancer journey, she knew she wanted to be more in control of her body when it came to childbirth. Though, this birth ended in a c-section, the prenatal, labour, and post partum experience was positive all because of a wonderful midwife and labour support. For her second, she had an amazing home water VBAC with her midwife and labour support. This birth was truly empowering and an experience that she wants other mothers to have.

Brittney has completed the DONA Birth Doula Training Course in Edmonton, Alberta and is certified through DONA International.
