For us, Ancient Roots is about all people and all tribes - - our roots run deep and our branches spread out high.......reminding us about how we used to “treat” ourselves with nature and how “ancient” remedies guided us for thousands of years. It’s about discovering and finding your tribe. It’s about balance and feeling good about your choices. It’s about what you can do for your mind, body and soul. In 2016, Ancient Roots began as an Apothecary-style store offering clients an alternative to chemical/pharmaceutical therapies with essential oil custom blends and gifts.
In 2017, we became a Certified Facilitator in “energy” healing with crystals and Sonic Therapy. Then, we expanded our store and began carrying a large selection teas, herbs and super-foods, serving healthy smoothies and organic drinks.
In 2018, we developed and created Ancient Roots’ Healing Tones ™️ Accreditation Program school and began teaching Sacred Solfeggio Tuning Fork course to existing energy practitioner who wanted to integrate sound and vibration therapy modality with their existing business.
Around the same time, we added a healthy Bistro serving a variety of home-cooked meals with vegan, vegetarian and meat options with a variety of homemade organic soups where we began “infusing” all our foods with the vibration using the 528 Hz Love frequency tuning forks. People noticed!
In 2019, we added guided-meditations and sound bath to our energy healing services. The addition of Shamanic Drumming, Heart Opening Cacao Ceremony, Zero Gravity Guided-Meditations quickly continued to grow and our love for vibrational instruments grew along with it, so did our clients needs for these instruments. We invested in acquiring a large selection of instruments such as drums (skin type and metal as handpan), Tibetan Bowls and Crystal Singing Bowls (just to name a few). Currently in 2020, life has changed and we are living in “unprecedented times” no doubt, but that does not mean the end of things - It means a change of things.
So, as we learn to grow from being the capitellar in a cocoon, allowing some time to past (as we reflect on our own life and situation), then we realize that if we let go and surrender to what life is offering us in this renewed world emerging as butterflies ready to explore each beautiful flower for nectar, just as we appreciate the wonders of each and every day and what is important to us. Life is wonderful!
Having to practice social distancing, our physical store became a virtual shop - After some adjustment period, people became more comfortable with the idea, and so did we.
In conclusion, we realized that the most important thing to us is our clients and our tribe and how we can be of greater service to them during these changing times.
It became clear that the physical store and Bistro, was distracting me of my time and energy, therefore, making it harder to spend the quality of time spent with each client that I enjoyed doing.
In order for us to be available for our clients needs, we decided to move our physical store to our home in Little River (near Salisbury, NB) where we continue to provide tools by appointment as well as curbside delivery and shipping, leaving our Bistro side of the business to new owners who will operate under a different name at the Shediac location.
