That moment when youāre staring at a tempting dessert tray, trying to figure out how to indulge without going overboard.
For me, Iād either:
ā Not indulge at all because I didnāt trust myself around sugar.
ā Or say "screw it" and end up eating more than I intended, feeling guilty afterward.
Thatās what the all-or-nothing thinking looks like.
Itās not just about the sweets; itās what the little voice in our head tells us.
ā āI donāt have any willpower.ā
ā āI canāt trust myself around treats.ā
ā āI give up! Iāll just start fresh on Monday.ā
But hereās what Iāve learned:
Your relationship with food gets easier the second you stop assigning morality to it.
Now, I can enjoy a piece of dessert and move on without the guilt.
Itās about finding balance and understanding that treats can fit into a healthy lifestyle.

Every so often, I have to remind myself that feeling less stressed isnāt something you just ādecideā to do.
Itās a lot like happiness⦠and it can show up as a side effect of two things:
1ļøā£ Whatās happening in your life
2ļøā£ How you respond to it
And on some busy, overscheduled days, it feels like calm is the last thing I can reach.
The good news: it usually doesnāt take a huge shift to move a little closer.
For me, stepping away from stress looks like:
ā Taking a few minutes to breathe deeply and clear my mind before diving into my next task
ā Fitting in a quick walk to get some fresh air and movement
ā Saying no to something that doesnāt need to happen right now
