I find now I want to do them though out the day just because. Now that's an addiction I can support!

Today is a challenge, get through this without injury by dynamic (movement) stretching before you start and static stretch this evening.

Dynamic stretch 15 movements on each arm move though complete range of motion (not aggressive movements)

1. Cross body stretch, arm parallel to ground pull across chest swing out as far to the rear and back.

2. Alternating vertical swings one arm over head one arm by side and swing up and down.

3. Step through peck stretch, place for arm verticle on door frames holder and elbow both at 90deg stand so body is in line and Step through door and bac with leg in the same side.

Static stretch hold each fir 25 to 35 seconds focus on relaxing muscles that you can feel tending up and holding back your stretch.

1. Cross body stretch

2. Child's pose kneel on floor fold body over knees and extend arm over head on floor and reach.

3. Table top stretch grab on to a counter, table or bar at belly height extend arms and bend at waist let you backside weight pull the shoulders and keep head and neck in line to not cause undue stress to the neck and traps.

Starting to see some small changes after 2 weeks of the push-up challenge. My shoulder and lower back are still giving me a lot of issues but hoping if I stay consistent to get some improvement in strength and pain management.

Why am I'm showing you this? Not to pat my self on the back but to hopeful motivate anyone with injuries to show one simple exercise everyday will make changes.

I will contrast the final results at the end of the challenge as well. I want to set a goal of at least 80 push-ups a day after this competition and keep it going. If anyone wants to join me on this easy task I would love you to share your progress!

Now its time to finish my push-ups and get ready for my day with Outdoor Energy!
