Chantale Lussier, PhD Founder & Mental Performance Director, Elysian Insight Chantale is more than familiar with athletic transitions. She earned a B.A.

Dr. Lussier is the Founder and Mental Performance Director of Elysian Insight, a company dedicated to mental performance solutions. A highly sought after specialist in her field, and regional representative (Quebec) for the Canadian Sport Psychology Association, Chantale has worked with hundreds of nationally and internationally-ranked competitive, elite, and pro athletes. A graduate of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, she enjoyed a 12-year career as a professional dance artist (stage, film, and television), choreographer, teacher, and artistic director. (honours) in psychology during her last five years in dance. On the heels of her retirement, she pursued an M.A. in human kinetics (sport psychology), and a PhD in education (psycho-pedagogy). Chantale developed a unique 3-year mental performance program for The School of Dance’s Contemporary Dance Diploma program, helping dancers navigate their intensive training and transitions into the professional dance realm. The go-to Mental Performance Consultant for the Ottawa Senators (NHL), she also helped Hockey Canada’s Women’s U18 National Team earn 3 gold medals and a silver medal at the IIHF’s World Championships. Noteworthy, she was a Mental Performance Specialist for Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS). A cancer survivor, Chantale understands the value of perspective in healing and utilized her mental skills set to support her journey back to wellness. As Manager of Programming and Advisor Lead for Game Plan, Chantale managed a team of 9 Advisors, was in charge of mental health strategies, and brought significant strategic and creative thinking and planning to a program of great scope, rooted in numerous partnerships and stakeholder relations. Chantale is passionate about enhancing mental health literacy, supporting healthy transitions, and fostering a culture of excellence. Now looking for new opportunities!
