Hydration & Your Muscles 💧🧘‍♀️

Did you know even a little bit of dehydration can make your muscles feel tighter, heavier, and more tired?

When we’re not hydrated enough:
💧 Muscles don’t contract as smoothly
💧 Cramps show up faster
💧 Balance and focus drop
💧 Stretching feels WAY harder than it should

Drinking water helps your muscles stay happy, flexible, and ready to move — whether you're flowing through yoga or just getting through the day.

So sip often, refill that bottle, and keep your body feeling its best! ✨

If you’re feeling a little tight from the cold today, here’s a quick warm-up to bring some movement back into your body. Just a minute can shift everything. 💜✨

✨ Mini Winter Warm-Up ✨
• Roll your shoulders back for 5
• Roll your shoulders forward for 5
• Lift your hands overhead and side bend left, then side bend right
• Interlace your hands behind your back, open your chest, breathe as you gaze upward, and let your heart pull forward
• Finish with a calm breath:
Inhale for 4…
Hold at the top for 1
Exhale for 6…

It’s a small sequence, but your body will feel the difference — especially on a day like today.
Stay warm, stay kind to yourself, and keep moving gently. 💜🧣

🎄 BENDS-DAY FOR THE SPCA – EVENT NOW LIVE! 🎄

Exciting news!! The Dec 17 BENDS-DAY Yoga event is officially live on Facebook! 🐾

Thanks to the Grand Falls Regional Municipality, we’ll be using Drummond Hall to raise funds for the SPCA this holiday season. 💛

Multiple sessions are available, including:

Lunchtime Yoga
Animal-Themed Yoga 🐶🐱
20-Minute Back Stretch & Strengthen Workshop

📍 1412 Tobique Rd (Around the side of the firehall)
💛 $15 per session/class
