💪FITNESS FACT FRIDAY 💪
✨ Let’s Talk BALANCE⚖️

Okay but really…
Why the heck do we need to stand on one foot? 😆

Because balance isn’t just about being still — it’s about how FAST your brain and muscles react together.🧠💪

Every time you: • Move out of the way
• Turn quickly
• Trip over LITERALLY nothing (me lol)
• Reach overhead
Your body has to adjust INSTANTLY.

And here’s the wild part 👇

The ability to balance on one leg is one of the FASTEST things to decline as we age — sometimes faster than strength.

When we don’t train balance:
Fall risk goes up➡️ Confidence goes down➡️ We move less ➡️Decline speeds up⬆️

It’s a cycle.☝️

But here’s the good news!
Balance is trainable at ANY AGE☺️

Try: • Standing on one foot while brushing your teeth
• Slow, controlled single-leg exercises
• Yoga 😉(hel-looo👋😁)
• Strength training for hips, glutes & calves

✨Studies show consistent balance + strength work can reduce falls by up to 30–40%😊💪

So yes…
Standing on one foot actually matters 😌💪

You are the one who chooses your story.
You are the one who decides how tomorrow begins… and how it ends.

YOU are YOUR most important person.
Be that. 😊💜

And It doesn’t have to be perfect every day.
But it DOES have to make you happy… some days😁❤️

Sleep well tonight.💤

✨ WORKOUT EXCUSE #247 ✨
“I’m too tired.” 😴

First of all, let’s be clear.👇
I am ALL about resting when your body truly needs it. Rest is productive. Rest is beneficial to your body. 💜

BUT… if “too tired” is becoming a pattern, here are a couple things to think about:

💡 #1 – Work with your energy rhythm.
Instead of planning your workout for 9:00pm when you know you’re drained from the day… try positioning it earlier.
Morning. Lunch break. Mid-afternoon.
Make it part of your routine ⏰ not the 'leftover at the end of your day' energy tank.

🍯 #2 – Natural fuel matters.
Did you know some marathon runners take a tablespoon of honey before a race?
Honey provides natural sugars and carbohydrates for a quick energy boost 💪 without the jittery pre-workout feeling or lying awake all night from caffeine.

Bottom line is: Simple tweaks. Big difference.😉😁

So before we retire this excuse… just something to think about 😉
