Since it's Valentine's Weekend,
Let’s start with some fun heart facts… because this little muscle is AMAZING:

❤️ It’s stronger than your bicep.
❤️ It beats over 100,000 times a day.
❤️ It pumps about 2,000 gallons of blood daily (that’s basically a tiny swimming pool 😳).
❤️ It will beat around 2.5 BILLION times in your lifetime.
❤️ It beats independently from the brain and has its own electrical system and about 40,000 neuron-like cells. (Whaaat)

And here’s something fun!👇
-Laughter helps your blood vessels relax.
-Pet owners tend to have lower blood pressure and stress levels.🐱🐶
So yes… cuddles and giggles are ACTUALLY good for you!🐶🐱😂

Now here’s what MOVEMENT does for you and your heart❤️👇

You don’t always need 60–75 minutes for a workout.
And shorter does NOT mean “not enough.”

DID YOU KNOW💡that 20 FOCUSED minutes (without distractions!) can actually:
• Help build a consistent exercise habit (instead of it feeling like a chore)✔️
• Improve your mind-muscle connection → supporting strength and fat burn✔️
• Lower injury risk because you’re paying attention to your form✔️
• Boost your mood and energy✔️

Now... I’m not saying ALWAYS do 20 minutes.
Sometimes your body and mind need longer.
But there’s time for every length of workout.

Consistency matters more than duration!

Wednesday BENDS-DAY Yoga is happening TOMORROW, and it’s already shaping up to be a good one — I’ve had people text, message, and email to say they’re coming!

This class is for EVERYONE... first-timers, regulars, and anyone who just needs a good stretch and reset mid-week.🧘

📍 Drummond (around the side of the firehall 😉)
🕡 6:30 PM we start moving — arrive a few minutes early to set your mat up
💲 Drop-in rate (see poster for details)

Sunday Vibes⭐Rest Your Body Will Thank You For🧘

Sometimes Sundays are RESTFUL.💤
And sometimes Sundays are RESTORATIVE ✨

Rest doesn’t always mean doing nothing — it can mean gentle, supported movement (if you’re into it.😉)

For my Sunday restorative stretch session tonight, I’ll be adding Supported Bridge Pose, and here’s why 🤍

✨ Supported Bridge (Setu Bandhasana with props) is a gentle, restorative backbend that supports the pelvis and allows the body to fully relax while still easing tension.

Why it’s perfect for a Sunday reset: 🙏
• Helps relieve lower back tension
• Gently opens the chest & hip flexors
• Can help with headaches
• Calms the nervous system with a soft inversion

Simple setup too! ☺️ 👉Lie on your back, knees bent, feet hip-width
• Lift hips and place a block/bolster/blanket under the sacrum (not the low back)
• Let shoulders tuck slightly, neck relaxed
• Breathe and rest

Low effort. Big benefits.😁
This is the kind of movement that supports your rest... And your body will thank you for it 🤍
