Get ready for a fantastic winter adventure! ❄️🤩 Phoenix Nordic has graciously invited our Special Olympics BC Grand Forks athletes for an exciting “snow day” at Marshall Lake on January 22nd! ☃️🏔️

The plan is to go for a short morning trek followed by a bonfire lunch. We will provide the snowshoes and snacks! 🌭🔥

Meet at the arena at 9:30 AM and expect to be back in town by mid-afternoon. SOBC GF athletes, if you’d like to participate please reach out to Coach Tara by Monday, January 19th, so we can coordinate rides and food for everyone. 📱🚙

Be sure to dress in your warmest layers—we’ll have plenty of snowshoes ready for everyone to try! 😊✨
