🏊‍♀️✨Huge congrats to our athletes who made a splash at the first swim meet of the season in Castlegar! 💦🥳

It was fast and fun! 🚀 Our swimmers competed fiercely in the freestyle, butterfly, and backstroke events against great teams from Golden, Elk Valley, Cranbrook, Creston, Nelson, and Castlegar. 🤩 Fantastic job, team! 🏅👏

A massive shoutout to McKenna, Special Olympics BC Castlegar, and all of the volunteers who hosted a fun, supportive, and incredibly well-organized swim meet! 🙏💙🙌

A fantastic start to October for our athletes! 🤩🎳🏊‍♀️

Huge congrats to our amazing team at the Pat Mark Bowling Tournament in Cranbrook earlier this month! Nine of our athletes competed, and one of our teams rolled their way to SECOND PLACE in the B Division! 🥈

They faced tough competition from Nelson, Trail, and Kimberley/Cranbrook, showing incredible sportsmanship and team spirit while representing our community! We're so proud. 😊

And the action doesn't stop there! Good luck to our swimmers competing at the Castlegar Swim Meet this weekend! Let’s make some waves! 🌊👏

Welcome to another exciting season of Special Olympics BC - Grand Forks! We're thrilled to have everyone back for some fun and competition. 🥳

Missed our Parade of Programs registration last Wednesday? No worries! You've got another chance to sign up:

When: Monday, September 22nd 🗓️ (That's our first day of bowling!) 🎳

Where: Pinheads Bowling Alley📍

Joan will be on-site to collect the $25 registration fee. Can't make it in person? No problem! Send us a DM 📩 and we'll get you the contact info for our Treasurer so you can sign up.
