🥌 HURRY HARD GRAND FORKS! 🥌

We have some EXCITING news for our curling community! Our team is fresh, motivated, and ready to play—so we’re hosting our very own Special Olympics BC Grand Forks Mini Bonspiel to give our athletes some great experience in a competitive (but fun!) environment! 🥳

We are looking for local curlers who know their way around the sheet to come out, slide some rocks, and help our new team sharpen their skills. Whether you've been curling for years or just love the spirit of the game, we want YOU on the ice to help our athletes grow! 🙌

WHEN: Sunday, March 1st 🕑
TIME: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM 📍
WHERE: The GF Curling Rink 🥌
THE BEST PART: We’ve got the pizza and drinks covered for everyone! 🍕🥤

This is all about community, sportsmanship, and helping our new squad experience that "big game" feel. Let’s make some noise and show our athletes some Grand Forks love! 💙🥌

Expect free giveaways, surprise guests, and local heroes in uniform joining us for the big splash! 🌊

It’s time to get freezin for a reason! Please join us for our 2nd Annual Special Olympics Polar Plunge! As our biggest annual fundraiser, this event is essential to keeping our programs running and accessible for our local athletes 🏅🙌

* When: Sunday, March 8th
* Where: Grand Central Carwash
* 12:30 PM: Warm up with a hot lunch & drinks (by donation) 🍴
* 1:00 PM: The Plunge begins! 💦

EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
Whether you get wet or stay dry, come join the fun:
* Participate: Take the plunge! We will register you onsite (registration is free). Costumes are encouraged but not mandatory🦸‍♂️

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday stop by Tim Hortons for a Special Olympics donut to support Special Olympics BC Grand Forks! 🍩

100% of proceeds directly fund training and competition for our local athletes🏅Help us smash last year’s total of $1,293! 📈 The donuts will be available all day and our athletes will be on-site from 1PM–2PM daily 💙

From the guided snowshoe trek to the blazing bonfire, every moment was fantastic! 🔥☕️
