1. Ignored early symptoms because doctors said “everything looks normal.”
2. Pushed through exhaustion because rest felt like weakness.
3. Tried to “out-discipline” my body with stricter diets and protocols.
4. Tied my worth to how productive I could be on a good day.
5. Thought healing meant fixing myself instead of listening to myself.
6. Felt guilty canceling plans when my body needed rest.
7. Stayed stuck in survival mode because slowing down felt unsafe.
8. Believed thriving was for other people, not someone with my diagnosis.

Even though my path hasn’t been linear, I don’t see these as failures anymore.
They were teachers.
They showed me that healing isn’t about willpower, it’s about safety, nourishment, and learning how to work with your body again.
