I'm a really practical person. I have a gift for sifting through details of what's important and what isn't. I'm often the person who will listen to a group debate something in order to make a decision and I'll be the one that goes "guys, it doesn't matter...".
That is one of my super powers and part of what makes me a great coach.
Let's have a look at this:
👉What if it doesn't matter who's right or wrong?
👉If something is good or bad?
👉If you choose A or B...or something else completely?
The point is:
How much time, energy and brain space are you wasting trying to figure something out when you could completely bypass that entire process?
I love efficiency. I love to streamline. And, I love to have fun, relax and go with the flow!
In fact, I get to have a lot of fun and flow because I don't waste time and energy worrying about things that don't matter. I think of this combination as a bit of a best kept secret.
We all have to find what works for us, and you may have your own Short Skirt, Long Jacket version of this. (thank you Cake ;) )
But, as an observer of human experiences, I can tell you, there's way too much thinking going on and not enough action taking or just getting on with more enjoyable things.

For real, consider it. See what happens and keep me posted!
Don't get me wrong, some things do matter. You'll need to streamline your way of knowing what matters and what doesn't.
The best way I know to do that is to ask "how important is this?".
I'm not attached to it being one way or another so I can listen for a response without too much static interference from my head.
👉A "Yes, this is important" feeling might make you feel like you're being pulled toward something, it might feel lighter or heavier. You might get a sense in your gut, your breathing might change. You might hear a response or see it written in you mental lens.
👉A "No this isn't important" will feel different.
You need to cultivate the ability to distinguish between the two and then honour them, respond to them.
You can ask more questions like
🤷♀️"What is the most important thing to do next?",
🤷♀️"Who can I ask about this?",
🤷♀️"What if I don't do this?",
🤷♀️"What if I do do this?".
The point is, you can save time and energy, messiness and hassle by getting clear on what does and doesn't matter...and life will be much more enjoyable!🥳
