Loyobo FIT A body positive community for women who want to ditch diets, embrace joyful movement in their life,

04/06/2026

If you struggle with motivation to exercise, it's not because you are lazy.

It's probably because you were taught to use guilt and shame to try to motivate yourself...

Which just doesn't work.

What does work?

✔️ Understanding how different kinds of movement make you feel
✔️ Giving yourself permission to play and choose movement you enjoy
✔️ Focusing on ability based goals and what your body can do, rather than what it looks like
✔️ Having a supportive community of women who are also writing their own rules when it comes to fitness and their bodies.

Which is exactly what I teach my clients - and the kind of support you get in the Loyobo Community.

Want to find out more? Book a free confidence call with me. Comment CALL ME below and I'll send a DM with the link to book!

And follow for more confident that teaches you how to embrace joyful movement instead of hating your body.

I always believed that once I lost all the weight and had the perfect body, I would feel confident.

And yes - there was a confidence that came with being in a smaller body.... But if came from the compliments and validation I got from other people.

Which meant I still constantly stressed out about how my body looked and what other people thought about me.

It wasn't until I did the work to see my self-worth as separate from how my body looks that I found the confidence I have today.

The confidence to take up space. To be seen. To be heard. To have boundaries and believe that I matter.

To not care about what other people think of my body.

Which means I am focused on my own happiness and building a life I love.

I want that so badly for you, too.

This is the kind of work that we are going to be doing at my 2026 Self-Love Summer Retreat.

After 3 days you’ll arrive home with:

💜A strong sense of body confidence, so you can stop wasting your precious time and energy worrying about how you look and instead be present for the memories you make each Summer

💜A deeper appreciation for and connection with your body, so that you are better able to listen to its needs and tune out the noise of external pressures or judgements

💜A new story and vision for your life that you can use to cultivate positive self-talk and a strong sense of self-worth

💜A rock solid support group of women with a clear understanding of how they can show up for you in your journey and a collective agreement to be your biggest hype girls.

So I beg you - make this summer the one where you decide to do the work, so that you can enjoy your body for what it is.

After years of working with women to heal their relationship with exercise, and unlearn toxic diet culture beliefs, there are a few things I feel pretty passionate about.

Some of these might challenge what you have been taught - or believed for a long time. Some of them might make you uncomfortable.

But so often healing starts with realizing that your body is not a problem to be fixed. That the rules women are taught to follow aren't designed to help us (or make us feel good). They are designed to keep us smaller.

The role models you had growing up hated their body, too... and taught you to do the same.

If you are done with trying to make yourself smaller, you're in the right place.

Follow for more conversations about body confidence, joyful movement, and writing your own rules for your body (and your life!)

This kind of confidence and belief in your own self worth is what my Self-Love Summer Retreat this June is all about. 😎💪💖

What would your life look like if you have yourself permission to be the fullest version of yourself? If you stopped spending your time worrying about trying to be smaller?

Imagine this how good it would feel this Summer to just exist - without worrying about what you look like. Or what size you are.

Because you have done the work and know that your body is worthy of existing.
Period.

Changing how you see yourself and your body, building your confidence doesn't happen by accident.

It starts with a choice. A choice to believe in what is possible and to show up for yourself (even if it feels hard to do so).

When you attend the retreat, you’ll arrive home with:

💜A strong sense of body confidence, so you can stop wasting your precious time and energy worrying about how you look and instead be present for the memories you make each Summer

💜A deeper appreciation for and connection with your body, so that you are better able to listen to its needs and tune out the noise of external pressures or judgements

💜A new story and vision for your life that you can use to cultivate positive self-talk and a strong sense of self-worth

💜A rock solid support group of women with a clear understanding of how they can show up for you in your journey and a collective agreement to be your biggest hype girls.

So I beg you - make this summer the one where you wear the swimsuit. Take the picture. Say YES to you. Make the memories and enjoy your body for what it is.

The second photo in this carousel sticks out in my memory.

I remember the first time I saw it, it sent me into a self-esteem spiral - because I was embarrassed about how fat I looked. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Looking at this photo now, it is laughable that I felt that way - when I was well over 100lbs lighter than I am currently. And yet - I felt that way for decades of my life.

It was easy to find other photos where I remember feeling that same feeling about how I looked.

Posing carefully for pictures. Sucking in my stomach. Checking for the right angles... because my self-worth hinged on looking the "right way".

At every size. In every shape. At every age... being fat was the worst possible thing I could be.

And yet - my body was never the problem.

And... there are tons of worse things that I would put WAY above the list of being too fat.

- Getting a divorce.
- Losing a best friend.
- Watching my best friend experience the death of her mother
- Owning a small business during a global pandemic
- Not living authentically
- Missing out on my life...because I am focused on what my body looks like.

So please - this Summer... Post the photo.
Wear the outfit.
Do the thing... because your body isn't the problem, either.

Changing how you see yourself and your body, building your confidence doesn't happen by accident.

It starts with a choice. A choice to believe in what is possible and to show up for yourself (even if it feels hard to do so).

This is the kind of work that we are going to be doing at my 2026 Self-Love Summer Retreat this June.

We will be working together to re-write what it means to have a "summer body" so that you can fully show up - in a swimsuit. In a tank top. In a summer dress. In your LIFE.

BEING FAT DOES NOT CAUSE DISEASE. 📢

This is a narrative that we have been sold that doesn't *actually* have science to back it up.

You can be healthy in a bigger body.

You can be fit in a bigger body.

You can feel GOOD in a bigger body.

Being thin does not guarantee health or an improvement in your well being.

This isn't "promoting obesity". It is about having a more nuanced understanding of health and our bodies.

It is about challenging anti-fat bias.

It is about learning how to heal your relationship with exercise and food... Because dieting and chasing weight loss is not going to help you feel healthy.

Despite what you have been sold.

The more that you accept this, the easier it is to make choices that are best for you. Exercise and food won't feel so stressful. And you will see yourself (and your body!) more clearly.

Because health is not a body size or shape.

It is about learning how to listen to and trust your body (and yourself!)

Make sure to follow the original creator and for more content designed to help you feel better in your body - and write your own rules when it comes to health, confidence, and self-worth!

I am going to say the thing you aren't supposed to say:

I feel SEXY in my bigger body, 🤩

Which is an odd feeling because for the majority of my life, gaining weight was one of my biggest fears.

I thought that my happiness, my desirability, my worth was dependent on me being in a smaller body.

And yet, here I am.

I love having big b***s (when I was small, they were one of the first things to go!)

I love how soft my body is, but yet still so strong. I still workout every day. I still love to dance my heart out and lift heavy. I am still so active (I don't think I thought that was possible).

I enjoy s*x so much more - lights on. I have no desire to hide my body and I do not believe anymore that my size is something I should apologize for. Anyone who ends up in my bed is lucky to be there - period.

And I act like it. 💜

My body is not something to be tolerated.

I am in my era of celebration.

If your biggest fear is gaining weight, if your time and energy revolves around it... your brain is lying to you.

Bigger can be s*xy. It can be healthy. It can be where your body feels it's best.

And when you FEEL good... I promise that is what will shine through.

THIS is what I am going to be teaching at my 2026 Self-Love Summer Retreat - how to celebrate your body for what it is now. How to see your body differently.

And how to exist in a swimsuit this summer... without worrying about your weight.

There are 6 spots left. I hope you join me.

Seriously though.

If you think that singing while I workout means I am not doing it "hard enough"?

Try teaching and having to talk through an entire workout... On a microphone... Without sounding tired or out of breath.

Just because I make it look easy, doesn't mean it is. 😎💪

Workouts don't have to be sad, boring, or all about punishing your body.

Exercise can be joyful, fun and when you learn how to separate it from trying to chase weight loss... It makes it SO much easier to show up and be consistent.

This is the magic that I teach my clients and members of my community. ✨

How to write their own rules when it comes to fitness and ditch all the shame, guilt, and beliefs rooted in being taught that your body is a problem that needs to be fixed.

Life is too short to spend your time trying to hate yourself smaller or guilt yourself into doing boring workouts.

Come move with me and see what is possible when you heal your relationship with exercise.

The Loyobo FIT Way of Life

There are 8 rules that guide the Loyobo FIT way of life and are reflected in everything that we do. They represent our values and ethics, but also our promise to you - our members and fitness family.

We want to do fitness differently. Here's how.

#1. We believe strength comes in all shapes & sizes.

There is no "one-size-fits-all" path to health and fitness. There is no perfect body archetype that we aim to follow. We focus on body positivity and helping you use fitness as a foundation for loving your body.
