I finally got one of my old mercury fillings removed and here’s what I wish I knew sooner.
Mercury fillings (amalgams) only last 6–8 years before they start to break down.
When they do, they can leak, crack your tooth, and leave rust-like debris and other buildup underneath the surface. That’s exactly what happened with mine.
This isn’t “woo.”
This isn’t “crunchy.”
This is actual science and mercury is toxic, and removing it requires proper protocols so you’re not exposed to v***r or particles during the procedure.
If you’re thinking about getting your amalgams replaced, please find a biological dentist or a practitioner trained in safe mercury removal.
They use specific protective measures designed to keep you and the dental team safe.
Your teeth, your nervous system, your long-term health, they’re worth doing this properly.
