Gardenview - Birch Trail went on a wonderful evening bus ride to see the Christmas Lights at the Jarvis Light Up 2025 and the Simcoe Panorama with the Recreation team. We enjoyed warm apple cider donuts and apple cider to warm their souls as well.

These lights are a must see to help bring in the festive season!

On Thursday December 18th, Southview Retirement Recreation team put on its annual Resident and Family Christmas party to celebrate the holiday season. We brought Wally Mags, a wonderful entertainer who drove down from Elora to entertain our residents and families. They were up dancing up a storm and singing along with the melody. Thanks to the families that came out to celebrate as well with us.

On Wednesday, December 17th, Gardenview held its Annual Resident and Family Christmas Party. It was a wonderful afternoon with one of our favorite performers Kristin Nichols to bring us an array of Christmas songs and melodies that all enjoyed. We had such a wonderful time celebrating together.

On Saturday, November 22nd, Parkview Meadows held their annual Christmas Bazaar with local vendors, bake sale items, poinsettias, and much more. It was a great event with many visiting and purchasing many great items to support small businesses locally. Events like this help to bring the community to our residents here in the home and raise monies for therapeutic programming supplies and updates to the facility.

On Thursday November 27th, Residents of Gardenview got their hands dirty to create their own pizza pies. It was a great time, with laughter, chatting and pizza sauce. Each resident created their own special pizza the way they enjoy eating it.

Testimonial: It is with heartfelt gratitude that I share my family's thoughts on the care our Mom received while being a resident of Gardenview LTC. Our dear Mom, affectionately referred to by the staff as "Fancy Nancy," felt like part of a family and never just a customer. The welcome we received from her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren made us feel valued and important in our Mom's care. Every question was answered thoughtfully, and every concern dealt with professionally and with great compassion. The care and attention to cleanliness within the facility were noticed and appreciated. We cannot speak highly enough of the attentiveness and respectful attention each resident received and the personal attention was very evident at the beautiful memorial service following the loss of our Mom. Thank you to all of the staff and volunteers. A special thanks to Theresa and Beverly for showering Mom with the love of Christ. May you all continue to be blessed as you bless those loved by our Lord.

Gardenview Recreation team was at it again...... We got all the residents to practice their mini putt skills while we wait for our 9 hole mini putt course to be built on the grounds.

Jeff's Outdoor will be breaking ground in December to start our 9-hole mini putt along the greenhouse and BBQ areas on the grounds. This has been a long time waiting for the logistics of getting these plans arranged.
