Testimonial: It is with heartfelt gratitude that I share my family's thoughts on the care our Mom received while being a resident of Gardenview LTC. Our dear Mom, affectionately referred to by the staff as "Fancy Nancy," felt like part of a family and never just a customer. The welcome we received from her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren made us feel valued and important in our Mom's care. Every question was answered thoughtfully, and every concern dealt with professionally and with great compassion. The care and attention to cleanliness within the facility were noticed and appreciated. We cannot speak highly enough of the attentiveness and respectful attention each resident received and the personal attention was very evident at the beautiful memorial service following the loss of our Mom. Thank you to all of the staff and volunteers. A special thanks to Theresa and Beverly for showering Mom with the love of Christ. May you all continue to be blessed as you bless those loved by our Lord.

Gardenview Recreation team was at it again...... We got all the residents to practice their mini putt skills while we wait for our 9 hole mini putt course to be built on the grounds.

Jeff's Outdoor will be breaking ground in December to start our 9-hole mini putt along the greenhouse and BBQ areas on the grounds. This has been a long time waiting for the logistics of getting these plans arranged.

On November 5th, Gardenview geared up and went on a fun filled bus ride to Cider Keg Farm Market in Vittoria for some fresh cider and doughnuts. The weather didn't keep us from enjoying this wonderful treat.

Make sure to visit the Cider Keg Farm Market for wonderful treats and snacks throughout the year. This family is amazing and such a great contributor for Parkview Meadows.

On Friday August 22nd, residents of Valleyview and Southview came together to pickle cucumbers. It was a great day that brought together so many capable hands and brought joy to see the fruits of their labor. Jars of Dill Pickles can be purchased in the tuck shop during the week.

Our Tuck Shop is run by our wonderful volunteers with great hot meals available during the week. Hours are 10:30am to 12:00pm, with Pizza Day on Tuesdays and BBQs on Fridays.

Items in need are new unwrapped toys, crafts, books, and hygiene products that would be suitable for a 2- to 14-year-old. There will be a tote in the main lobby of Gardenview dedicated for these donations.

On Wednesday September 3rd, Parkview Meadows - Gardenview visited a local farm of Jordan to have our residents experience an afternoon full of goat cuddles and Hewitt's Ice Cream with the Parkview bus. This was such an amazing experience and glad they got to experience the baby goats.

Parkview Meadows on Friday August 22nd at the Greens at Renton put on their 12th annual Golf tournament fundraiser to raise money for a new wheelchair accessible bus for our residents to be able to experience their community and enjoy activities outside of their home. This is a wonderful privilege for us to be able to provide for them each year. We had an amazing turnout from local businesses and families join us for what was an amazing day. We were blessed with sunshine and great weather.

A Special thank you to Heaslip Ford, Oneida New Holland, Carpet One (Port Dover), Skyline Contracting and Adventure RV for their Hole in One prizes.
