Fort Treehouse Company Wild by design. Bringing humans and nature together - conscious treehouse design + experiences.

A winter arrival at Hårtwood.

The forest is still holding the season. Quiet mornings, snow underfoot, a warm treehouse waiting.

A few March Break stays remain if you feel like slipping away before winter lets go.

There’s a different rhythm here.

Light instead of noise.
Silence instead of signal.
Space instead of excess.

Not everything needs filling.
Some spaces are better left open.

LIVE FIRE | INVENTIVE CHEFS | WILD DINING

Introducing Forest Feasts.

We’ve been dreaming this up for as long as Fort has lived in our minds.
People gathering in the wild. Fire-cooked, seasonally driven feasts. Long conversation at shared tables.

An intimate, limited-seat supper club shaped by the season and open flame.

For our first gathering, Laforet Catering presents a three-course winter menu centered on fire-driven cooking and local ingredients.

March 1 | 5–9pm
12 seats
$215 per guest (culinary gratuity included)
Wine, cocktails, and seasonal pours available for purchase throughout the evening.

Reserve via link in bio.

An intimate chef-led fireside feast is coming soon to The Hydda Bar. Mark your cals - March 1. More details to come.

Why winter?

Because it carries a rhythm we’ve forgotten how to follow. One that asks us to slow down, warm up, and stay a little longer.

The Baltic.

A Nordic-inspired treehouse, suspended between two sugar maples in Ontario’s rural north.
A small, intentional cabin in the trees. Windows on all sides. Forest in every direction.

Designed to sit lightly in the landscape and let the seasons do the rest.

Big January energy.
A pause. A breath. The forest.

A winter stay immersed in nature.

((Best experienced with sound on))

2025 was a hard year.

The kind that asks everything of you. Patience, resilience, belief, and then asks for more.

This film captures what we set out to build at Hårtwood.

A place shaped by the forest, by craft, and by the idea that staying somewhere can change how you feel long after you leave.
We did the thing we said we would do.
And we couldn’t be more proud of the result.

Here’s to places that matter.
Built slowly, honestly, and with care.
