If you Google what your baby needs you will find lots of long lists of supplies... but the truth is you don't need ALL that stuff!

Keep it simple. You might think you'll use that very trendy bottle drying rack, but will you really?

Put the simple things on your registry, and then you can add what you need from there!

You’re not imagining it — newborns really do feed A LOT!

Most babies every 1.5 to 3 hours, and that includes overnight.

This frequent feeding:

✅ Helps establish your milk supply
✅ Keeps your baby hydrated and growing
✅ Offers comfort and connection — not just nutrition

Cluster feeding (lots of feeds close together) often happens in the evening or during growth spurts — it’s your baby’s way of telling your body, “I’m growing!”

First, ask around for recommendations and then reach out through our website to see if we have space.

From there, you’ll book a meeting with us, confirm how many hours of support you’d like, and we’ll set aside your spot.

Once your contract is signed, intake form is filled out, and deposit is made — your booking is officially confirmed.

After that, you can relax knowing you have our support every step of the way.

Playing with a 4-month-old is all about connection, movement, and simple stimulation. At this stage, babies are discovering their body, voices, and the world around them. You may find them better at grabbing toys, using their voice/sounds and being very interested in their environment.

Here are easy ways to play:

- Face-to-face: Smile, make silly sounds, copy their coos. They love watching your expressions.
- Tummy time: Place toys or a mirror in front to encourage lifting their head and reaching.
- Gentle movement: Bicycle their legs, clap hands, or sway while holding them.
- Textures & toys: Let them feel soft cloths, rattles, or teething toys.
- Songs & rhythm: Sing, hum, or gently bounce to music.
- Peekaboo & games: Cover your face with your hands or a cloth—simple surprises delight them.
- Mirrors: Babies love watching themselves in a baby-safe mirror.

At 4 months, play is about bonding, sensory exploration, and practicing new skills (like reaching, rolling, and vocalizing).
