During meditation I use age appropriate imagery to guide kids through a 5-10 minute practice. Today we focussed on relaxation and afterwards one student shouted, "Wow, it definitely works! I can feel everything!"

Most of these kids (grade 3-5) have been doing yoga with me for two years and they are so curious and engaged. They take meditation seriously, today they sat for 10 (mostly) uninterrupted minutes and we learned some neat transitions and read a favourite story.

at HECS, we made veggie pizzas for snack and turned into pizzas for yoga class!
We kneaded, stretched & twirled the dough in the air, I sprinkled flour, tomatoes and cheese on them and then chased them around with oven mitts on trying to put them in the oven.
